This is a new channel i made, because my old youtube account won't work on my new pc. I will upload new content here, and there will be a link to the old channel here: ru-vid.comfeatured
Mostly washing machine videoes, but also some other fun stuff. I love to repair stuff, and make things work again. Old stuff is always cool.
Thank you for this. I was intomidated but feel confident today, i can do this. 75 from kentucky, visiting Paris for the summer Olympics. Mercí beaucoup
Sorry to say, but other than how to get the machine in test mode, your video is very unclear. Your voice is often unintelligible, and the camera is missing your manual actions, so you’re not making clear what exactly you’re testing with which action. And that's a pity, because those machines now get to an age at which they start to malfunction. So if you would be willing to make a new video, recorded by a second person and with a proper script and a clear voice(-over), you’d make many people happy. This video is of little use, unfortunately.
Hello, do you have a video on replacing the door lock on this unit please? Mainly I am looking at how to actually get behind the seals without breaking anything.
Thank you for your video! I'm also having issues with the heating on my AEG L7WBG47W washer/dryer, but I can't seem to figure out how to remove the cables, you made it look so easy and I can't make them even budge a bit, any tips?
@@basiclaundrydk3156 I managed! Thanks!! The heating thingie has this rubber part that was almost impossible to remove as well, especially because my back took a turn for the worse in these days, so I have almost no streght. But I managed and my washer/dryer is back in business! ^_^ Cheers from Prague!😊
@@basiclaundrydk3156 I spoke too soon, the washer is not heating again, so perhaps the issue lies somewhere else, I really don't wanna call a technician because I live far away from the city, it will cost me a fortune :( any ideas? The heating part was not even burnt or with scale, it looked pretty clean but I changed it anyway. It worked for not even a week
@@basiclaundrydk3156 Good luck! And these valves are very easy to get, they arent made for Eudora specifically :) Check your local parts store or online
You really have to clean your washing machine every few months to make it last long! Buy some machine cleaner, put it in the machine after it is filled with water and use the cottons 95°C cycle!
@@basiclaundrydk3156 Oh wow but it still got pretty dirty! Maybe the water hardness is pretty high? Your next machine should be an AEG with SoftWater technology then :)
@@basiclaundrydk3156 I wouldn't call them cheap, AEG and Electrolux share the same products and my Electrolux which has the same noise goes for 1k new. It sounds like its about to break and I can't blame it. For some reason the pump has go for like 2 min before every wash when there isn't even any water at all in the drum. Feels like unnecessary wear.
We used to have a similar type of washing machine, it was a Bauknecht Wa 611 which lasted from 1970 to 1993. eventually the machine was written off due to worn bearings, a mechanic timer that failed and a motor that got too hot. This one sounds like the bearings are going bad as well when turning it by hand.
Cool, it sounds like they are build really solid. Do you know what year this machine is from? Also, it haven't seen much use, so it would be very unlikely that the bearings are worn.
One other possibility for it why it isn't really quiet is the fact that this older type of motor being the reason for it. Still, hoping to see a test run sooner or later. 👍
If‘ve got the Same Machine as a special Model who called Sydney! There is no Display for the Delay Start! Only a Button and a LED vor 6 Hours Delay! I love this Machine. It Works perfektly and the Spincycle sounds Powwerfull and strong! Have Fun with her! Greedings from South Germany 🙋♂️🙋♂️🙋♂️🙋♂️
Nice to hear. It is a great machine and runs very well. Glad to hear you are enjoying yours as well. I've got another top loader today, they are very facinating machines.
