New Episodes are posted every Sunday usually after 3pm (though occasionally slightly later). After running a blog since 2013, I decided to make Autumn Becomes Me into a Travel and Food channel. I'll be covering fun things to do in New England (like amusement parks, Boston events, and specialty shops) as well as showing you tidbits of my own life as I cook up something new in my kitchen.
I used to watch channels like this during some dark times in my life to gain inspiration and now I want to give back. I hope this channel inspires you to cook something delicious, indulge in self-care, and explore where you live like a tourist. I promise there are amazing things to enjoy everywhere! You just have to know where to look for them. Thank you so much for visiting. Love, Heather Autumn
Um...I think sundown is around 7? They won't be as vibrant but still fun. If you want my advice, I'd go, bring a book, or a snack and maybe wait till it gets dark, but at least you'll be in the park and have a good parking spot. I hope that helps! They also have food there. It's a little pricey, but in this video I showed up a little early and it was nice to have a glass of wine and read before filming. It can be expensive though so fair warning. I hope you have fun!!!
Made my heart smile. Brought back many memories of the Great Danbury State Fair and the Big E. As kids we would attend both each fall. Thanks for sharing! Much ❤
Sweet! Been far too long since I was at the Big E! Thank you so much for the trip down memory lane. Much ❤ Now to go watch part 1 lol Edit: just subscribed and looking forward to watching past content. Hoping to see more of N.E. outside of Massachusetts in the future. N.E. has so much to offer and truly needs a few good travel vloggers to spread the word 😊 You should consider a quick trip to Sleepy Hollow, tho technically not in N.E., it is very much worth the trip. Again, thanks for taking us along!
Hey! Welcome to the channel! I LOVE the Big E. One of these days, I want to try to stay for a couple of days because it looks like so much fun. Honestly, I have so much fun traveling outside of Massachusetts. I just have two little beasties (cats) and they throw frat parties when I'm away too long. One late meal and they riot. If I'm able to find a sitter, my adventures will expand for sure. Ideally, I'd love my New England travels to become world travels, but that's a pretty lofty goal for now. Thank you so much for watching and I'm so glad you liked this episode!!! 😁
@@adventurecreations3214 Aw! I’m so glad it warmed you up and wasn’t depressing lol. Life is a lot of fun and ever changing and I guess that’s the point lol.
@@Shasta31487 Thank you! Letting go of my mom was probably one of the most tough moments of my life, but I think she’d be proud (or at least I hope so.😅).
@@ancienttoenail9886 I am so happy I could be helpful! Honestly, it’s not until recently that I started to think about procrastination differently so I’m happy to pass it along.🙂
I just saw the movie “Butter” with Jennifer Garner!! Wow! This is real! Oh also if someone called me “heifer,” I drop kick them! I know you wouldn’t have, regardless… I would have gone full Karate Kid 😊
@@adventurecreations3214 It was so much fun! I brought all four of my batteries and wiped them all out. There was so much to do and see I had to be choosy. This was one instance I wished I could clone myself lol. 😂
I’m so happy you found it relaxing.😂 in a weird way, cleaning and organizing relaxes me too and the feeling of looking around and everything is in its place is fantastic!
🥹Thank you! My apartment is not part of a building. In Massachusetts sometimes they’ll take old and very big homes and chop them up so they have these small apartments. So my apartment is on one floor of an old house and it has windows on three sides. I love it so much. It has a lot of character.😂
😂😅You’re so kind! I really wish I had something cool or unique that I do to share. My mom had really good skin, but we breakout easily which is probably why I don’t do a lot in terms of skin care. I do use a face mask from time to time.😁
I would absolutely make them for you, I would however like to fight whoever it was who was charging 2.50 each and didn't tell me I could make a bunch at home. -_- Also the pull up bar is laughing at me because I've taken to hanging there, struggling a little and then hanging there some more while crying.XD
That tent looks really nice. I love the fact you can open the top and look out unto the stars at night. Plus, it looks like it has a built-in screen area. The campground looks nice, what a huge site indeed. I think I might try that campground out sometime and especially the fact they have electric.
I LOVE my tent!!! It's a Coleman which can get pricey, but they are really good quality. Not going to line when it's pitch black out, I did worry a little if I was going to look up and see a bear, but this is a moderately busy camping ground so I doubt there would be any. It was so much fun. If you head over there, I think you'd like it. It's especially nice because Ptown is so close, so you don't have to spend the whole day at your tent unless you wanted too. :)
@@autumnbecomesme Yes. I looked it up and it seems they close earlier in the season. I was checking out dates in Oct. I would love to try that campground out. I have been to the other campground in Provincetown and that was very nice.
I completely get that. It's sad when I see animal videos and they are clearly not in the best place. This zoo is small but they're doing their best. For example, I felt sad because they have a lion, but he's all alone. I heard recently that they are bringing in a friend for him! The fact that they are constantly trying to improve and look at the happiness of their animals is key.
Wow, really a lot going on! Food looks amazing I just missed the Pittsburgh, Pa. Water Lantern Festival 2 weeks ago. Will have to mark the calendar for next August.
Oh Fun!!! I know they do water lanterns here in MA and I also missed it this year. It looks like it would be TONS of fun. Also, when I was little my grandmother used to live in Lancaster PA! Small world. :D
