*God bless you Lisa* 😆Thank you for putting the solution you found in the description because that’s the missing piece to my puzzle. I had an oil change and about a month later everything went to crap
I am facing this problem from 3 months in my foard fusion 2012 model can any one give me advise how to fix this problem its coming only when i reduce car speed below 40 km
Y is the maker of this video not saying anything she's just showing the issue on the dashboard but not saying anything doesn't make any sense I'm annoyed

So! i had this same problem. no lie i watched every video including this one. Literally the same lights and symptoms. I put an OBD2 and it said error. untimely, My problem was the wires near the battery had become corroded and was not getting power to the PCM. there WAS power to headlights, cluster, radio just not the actual computer itself. since i took it to the ford house and paid 1536 the car has ran great since. could i have done it had i known the problem? yup -_- But! hopefully You will have a better idea of where to start. The Traction control "AdvanceTrac" will not cause the vehicle to be unoperational
@@gregkennedy737 thanks Greg, it was already fixed and was some cables that were sqeezed from the wreck, it was the horn cable. The cables were rejoined and it works
@@tiagorambo2005 sim.
Fill your tires to 43 psI first. Take off the negative cable from your battery while your vehicle is off but the key is in the on position. This will reset the computer. This trick worked for 2011 Ford Fusion se 2.5l.
@@TheGabino654 they said my pcm went out …ford refused to honor my warranty I ended up spending over 3k out of pocket and it still didn’t help I have the car back and got a 2017 Lexus es350 I’ll never buy another cord again …my 2010 fusion was a piece of garbage also
Funny that you said oil failed? Bc my change oil light came on and bam, my power steering locked up and advance Trac, could this be concidence or same as oil cluster?
Same thing happened to me!! My power steering locked up while I was driving. Smh. Car dash also went completely dark but car was still running. Did you end up getting it fixed? If so, what was replaced?
There was an issue with my tire! It threw something off in the computer system. A mechanic restarted the computer system and it was fine after that 🤷🏾♀️
@@ItsBravoP no, i just got a new used one. My issue started bc it sounded like i hit something on my passenger side floor board. Like a pop. Whatever that was had to do w my tire. Idk. Took it to the ford shop and they tried to get me! Saying that my whole epas system was screwed and it would cost a crazy amount of money to fix. They reset it bc they couldnt find a real issue saying that it would happen again, that resetting was a temporary fix. Which they reset it bc my car was still drivable but hard to steer. I had another mechanic who has the whole computer system check it and everything was fine! Just a glitch in the computer from whatever that loud pop was that shook my system. It can throw everything off!! No issues w my car at all since then.
Does you car cut off and tires spin but don't want to go? Mine does. Advance Trac popped up and won't go away. I wonder if this was because of this.? I was stuck in traffic. Cut car on took off front tire spin. and car wouldn't go. Jerked. Cut off and back on it took off. Done this four more times and then finally worked. Could this be from advance Trac? Also, power steering service now is on my car. Had replaced and still locked up so it's not the power steering if I had the whole freaking thing replaced. So why is it on? Seems no one knows why Also, can an alignment make the electrical thrown off to cause these messages behind my steering wheel?I had three new tires replaced but Monday headed to get new tire rods along with alignment. Wondering if that might fix the problem?
I have a 2010 Ford Fusion that does this constantly. Will the dealership still fix for free even though it’s a 2010? I took it to a dealer 2 years ago it was free but not fixed. Very annoying to drive with!!
I have the same issue with my 2010 ford fusion se i tho it was the starter so i change it. But it was running good for 2 days then yesterday it didn't start. What can i do to fix the problem?
I have same car, same year same problem! What's wro g with these cars! I took it to Ford dealership to see if is there any reçalls, so the denied it and they want charge me 2100dls. Crazy!
Thank you for posting this-I am sorry that your instrument cluster was replaced for naught-Its pretty sad Ford knew of this problem a few years ago and fixed it under warranty-they knew the connector was made inferior and moisture, water and oil got inside the connector and made the cluster go haywire- these cars sometimes wouldnt start when the moisture got in the connector-so after warranty is over- pay up at the dealer even though they know its a manufacturing defect-my neighbors car was doing this-I was able to correct it for him-all I did was take screws out of door to replace oil filter- open it- the 4 pin connector is close by- its in front of oil filter taped to another wire on the bottom radiator support-I unplugged it water dripped out of it-I blew air through it from compressor(both ends of the plug)-got hair dryer-heated both plugs to dry out completely-reconnected plug everything works as it should-this car had low miles- it took 7 years for moisture to get inside and cause a problem-so changing the connector wasnt done here
My 2012 ford fusion did exactly the same thing, so i took the car to the ford dealer they changed the part free of charge because it was a factory problem , that was 3 years ago, now my car its been working fine
This happened to my 2012 ford fusion sel. I found out it all my tires were not pumped to specification. I changed my tires, pumped to spec and had a reset done at a friendly dealer at no cost. All got sorted just like that.
Haha you act like this doesn't happen to other vehicles. This isn't a ford issue this is an automobile issue all vehicles have their issues. Blame a whole car brand because of one issue. I will say I will stay away from chevy they don't make a good vehicle. Overall quality isn't good and their engines have a knocking sound brand new that isn't supposed to happen. I think I would take the Ford over the Chevy that's just me though.
