This is Pitstop Heads Gaming channel. I play a range of survival games including DayZ, Medieval Dynasty, Planet Crafter, The Forest, Stranded Deep and others. I also have a second channel (ru-vid.com/show-UCHZN-qgjJ7ewSO5QJ2U5tDA) where you can find some more stragety games such a Rimworld.
You can hit tree stumps to get rid of them, trees wont grow back on that spot anymore When i first played the forest, i didnt think it was good, because i had just played green hell, but i realised, and others should too, they are not the same game, they may be designed similarly, but they are not the same, the story, gameplay and freedom of the games are very VERY different and they are both very well made games
Running crosswise :D I remember, that in older games running crossways/sideways was quicker, because the formula for the speed was based on triangle, and you know... C squared (going sideways) is longer = quicker than going A or B side. Maybe here too :D ?
Very helpful. ❤ I personally prefer building by the water to avoid attacks- plus the water has killed off quite a few mutants who’ve jumped at me who then missed.
I’m just starting with the game, I am addicted. I’ve played 32 hours so far, my settlement has 26 buildings and 18 people. I have a few questions: Was it only you building this or did you had co-op help? How many hours? And can we see the city stats?
I can't seem to find build compost bin location!!! I built one in an earlier game, but now it seems to have "disappeared". Any help locating where the build menu is would be greatly appreciated
I just got into this and this video helped thank you. Is there a certain amount of heaters and drills and power to put down. So I can speed things up. I know this is an old video, but I am really getting into this game.
I just got the game maybe 2 1/2 weeks ago and I think the smartest thing is just to make a small raft. Then you can put a drying food rack on there, a water collector, a bed, stick collectors, bone collectors, arrow holders, etc. I personally have all those things plus a big shelf, a fire, skull lights, and a stick marker (which I probably don’t need because the bed has a bed symbol is basically a stick marker. I basically have everything I need and can sleep anytime that I need to and my defense is water .
I guess i got balls of steel. Day 60 and my base is tiny. I have a couple traps but not many. I use my bow and try and headshot the cannibals . I stay by a campsite that has arrows. Im by a tall stand thing too that has rope you can climb up to the top. If it gets really dicey, i just climb that and bow them from above. They cant reach me of destroy it. After watching this im gonna start on defenses though.
I think the choice not to use poison arrows is a good judgment. The benefit is hardly worth the extra effort of picking poisonous berries and mushrooms. I would rather stay clear of it all, and probably get some decent arrows.
On effigies: Why would you spend time dismembering enemies, only to make consumable effigies with an unreliable effect? A disgusting project in itself. I never made one, and I am never going to.
Thanks for these great videos. I have played 7DtD from the beginning and I still love it. Glad to see some fairly new gameplay. Mine is boring af, tho I would still like to make some. Maybe we could play together and do a video of that? :D
