I paid 300 Euros fine, for watching Interstellar for half an hour on stremio, on my first month here in Germany. Most expensive movie of my life 🥲🥲🥲 Now using VPN to access my Netflix account.

This video aims at job seekers. You also need to verify your degree for studying but the process can look different. Best you get in touch with the university you want to study to find out more!
Hello, As per Opportunity Card Visa rules, I am a little bit confused about two weeks trial job. What does that exactly mean? I am an IT Professional, do I need to resign from my current employment before arriving in Germany on Opportunity Card Visa?Kindly guide me.

That's why it's important to plan for your pension as soon as possible, as we explain in our video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SGh9U3ERs90.htmlsi=pnftLC87p-pWtiGe or guide here: www.simplegermany.com/pension-in-germany/
My question is, What about Vocational qualifications? If they say it should be state Recognized, now that not all countries perform the same vocational training standards like Germany. Let's say some professional training like Carpentry, Plumber, IT etc can be issued a Certification of completion from a Private school or a Company that offers such training. How do we show to the German embassy that these certificates are state Recognized? If there is no platform like anabin to go through? Thanks
The institution where you got your qualifications should be able to confirm to you that they are state recognized. There is no experience base yet how embassies will handle this. But if we were you, we would be proactive and reach out to our institution.
If I get this type of visa, will it increase my chances to get hired in my field, even if I apply for jobs from outside Germany? (compare to not having it). I assume, from the employer's perspective it is an easier decision due to the fact that potential candidate will be having a working permition, therefore they don't have to go through the procedures of visa sponsorship etc.
There is no such thing as visa sponsorship in Germany. Either way you need to get a work permit. But of course it helps to be in the country, get to know the culture, learn the language and be able to show up to interviews in person.
@@simplegermany Thanks for the answer. So, basically it makes almost no difference for me whether I have this visa or not, as long as I am apply for jobs from my own country, right? As for the second point, I have lived and studied there for 4 years, so learning the culture and language is luckily not the case for me anymore.
The procedures take ages, im a moroccan doctor and i've been waiting for 6 months already just to get an answer from the regierung and then i'll have to wait another 3 months for the visa. It's just a lot of waste of time 😢
My university listed in anabin with H+ status. my degree also listed in anabin but from different university. Can i still provide this to visa or need to get ZAB verification?
@@simplegermany Yeah I watched. 1st you check your university then search for the degree and mentioned about the equivalent class, didn't consider the university. So if degree is listed then fine?
As far as we know, your spouse would also need to have a blocked account to come with you. Another avenue could be for you to get the Chancenkarte, find a job in Germany and with your work permit apply for family reunification.
Yes I agree in Germany since 2006 I can say there is mostly Xenophobia but also racism is very prevalent but in subtle ways. My American blond blue eyed and German American background also feels like people treat her differently and we have similar experiences. and I am quite aware that I as a person of color am treated well only because over 18 years people have goten used to me and I speak fluent German..WHen I leave my city I would have to start over again building these relationships because most brown foreigners are second class citizens here because they are seen as refugees.
Hallo Leute, I am a civil engineer interested in a Chancenkarte Visa. My degree and University are H+ but on the Anerkennung website, I can't see Civil engineer in the profession section. I'm selecting Civil engineering worker/Construction engineer and can see that those professions are not regulated in Hanover, Lower Saxony. Is it true that Civil engineering is not regulated in Germany or am I making a mistake somewhere? Danke schon!!
7000 gross salary. What is left is 3600 net in Germany. What a joke. In Poland programmers can have 12% tax. What is left is 5600 EUR. See the difference.
I'm from Pakistan. I really appreciate your content . My University Status is H+/- And my degree shows in university status window as A4 ( equivelance to 3Y) Do i need to go for ZAB? Plz advice .Thanks
Hi can you please kindly advise on the health insurance? I saw it is a requirement for the Chancenkarte visa and want to know exactly how much one would have to pay for it and for how many months would one need to be covered. 🙏🏽love your content
We are releasing another video on health insurance next Monday 😊 The cost depends on your individual situation and you need health insurance for your entire time in Germany. So it's best to get a health insurance that you can cancel whenever you leave rather than booking one for a set amount of time.
I have been in Berlin for the past two months on a job seeker visa. I have sent out more than 200 applications, but I have not yet landed an interview. Could you help me? Could you please review my resume?
Great video! The Anerkennung website changed dramatically from when I was looking for information in 2021. It was difficult to find infos, glad they changed it. For anyone looking for a PhD or postdoc position in Germany, make sure not only that the University is H+ and the degree is listed, but also the masters degree (if you are looking for a PhD) or the PhD degree (if looking for a postdoc position). In my case, the University and the degree were listed, but the exact PhD degree was not. I contacted the Brazillian Embassy and they told me to get the Anabin recognition for my PhD just to be sure that my visa would not be denied because of it.
