I swear, the more times I hear the story the less I understand how it all went from Kujo stealing a sample and the owners going “oi that’s ours!” to Kujo and his attorney demanding money from Ren as if he was the thief. It’s like there’s a huge gap and I suspect it’s between Kujo’s ears 👀 Now I am just very impatiently waiting for Kujo Beat Down 🔥 The hype is real! Ren is a very empathetic, highly intelligent, and arguably too nice guy. But we’re about to see what happens when you push the nicest guy in the industry too far…
This was the first song of theirs that I ever heard, I think in 2019. It came up in the RU-vid algorithm and I clicked on it out of curiosity. Liked it, clicked on the next link which was bloodsport from the room below because vessels mask had peaked my interest even more. Obv loved that, then immediately afterwards the offering and that was that. I'd found my new favourite band. This version really makes you listen to the lyrics and like you say, it makes you realise how melancholy the song actually is.
I watched a version of this where a lawyer reacts to this. I think Top Music Attorney is that channel called. I have no idea when it comes to law in certain countries. I'm looking forward to hearing Ren's song that he made about this and also I hope they can find a solution.

I love seeing people react to how Vessel sings this. They don't expect it. and its beautiful seeing the look on your face when you hear that first 'heeeeey yaaaaaa' hits. I love this cover so much!
"Your name is a sin I breathe like oxygen, caught in the careless arms of lust again".....sounds like some really sexy passion and Vessel is an outstanding genius on love song lyrics, but never wrote a love song that is just nice and romantic, there is always more or less that dark dramatic undertone, this overall sadness and misery.
8:39 Just my point of view. Music matters so much to me too. My favourite songs are like a soundtrack to my daily live in good and hard times. Music gave me strength and comfort when I was alone with my problems, it was my soulfood and always will be. Those early Sleep Token Songs are so haunting and raw and that goes even much more for the more earlier stuff that exists. Fields of elation already shows the great passion, lust and desperation Vessel experiences in that relationship and that goes through their whole discography.

I loved OutKast and me and my bff would always break out with "shake it like a Polaroid picture" any time we heard something like Shake it off or shake well before using 😂😂😂 But, this cover Vessel reimagined, wow, totally broke the song down to how serious the lyrics are. He also did I WANNA DANCE WITH SOMEBODY by Whitney Houston and WHEN THE PARTY'S OVER" by Billie Eilish. Glad your back with more ST!! Looking forward to the next one ✌️ Worship ❤
Im the original song andre says "yall dont wanna hear me ya'll just wanna dance". I think this version takes it and makes it true to the lyrics which are as you said very depressing
It's the only way i know to be, as most of you can tell i wear my emotions on my sleeve, i do feel exposed a bit but i prefer people to see my heart and for them to see its ok to not to be sometimes.
