Guy still wants to claim he is tech support even after being outed and having not been able to see the Linux iso on ur desktop for the entire duration. Genius move to put it there lol.
Most scammers don't care if it's Arch, Debian or Gentoo. As soon as you pull a penguin into it, they're confused and try to act like they are Linus Torvalds... working for Microsoft on... Linux. I feel sorry for the people that actually fall for these scams.
I once had a call from an indian woman scammer she asked me to turn on my computer. I told her i hadnt switched it on for 2 years (true - it was my first very basic laptop and she didnt tell me WHICH one to turn on) she waited impatiently for half an hour while it was just charging the battery enough to start it up . Would seem she expected a laptop not used for 2 years to be still fully charged and ready to use? Only 2 brain cells and one of those controlled her (heavy) breathing😂
Yeah, the Windows 95 Theme from Twister UI for Xubuntu nowadays is pretty convincing. Well, visually at least. But both Twister UI and Chicago95 didn't exist when this video was made.
You just don't get it do you or your so stupid to understand me, I say again I had a laptop that was running perfectly well with W11 on it, until I decided to change to Linux 20.3 or what ever the version is, when I booted the lap top up the next day, no bootable devices found, don't give any s**t about the SSD drive dying, the drives won't boot up I have tried the basic commands at the windows disc "repair this computer" the drive is dead can't you understand it's dead, due to a badly developed copy of the Linux installation disc. If I want to shout I will shout and don't belittle me ever
@Kevin Something in me wanted to help you out, because I know how to, but now that I've read your entire rant I'm just posting this comment to annoy you even more and make you realize you could have gotten help weren't you such a c**t. Good luck with your 'dead' SSD 🤣🤣🤣
That's a you issue. If you download corrupt ISO files from some websites, you can't really blame the Mint Team. The most that Mint could do is format your drive, which would cause a no bootable devices error if it had any errors during installation. So... It didn't kill your drive. It formatted your drive.
The machine name is LITERALLY "BenVM" - VEE-EMM - Victor Mike - Virtual Muppetshow. And: use "sudo <command>" And the Cinnamon iso. on a CLEAN desktop. with the LM Logo. So many indices! That Ashkraf from Mumbai is an utter Tool.
i feel like this guy doesnt realize he is a scammer. some places out of USA will hire you as a "microsoft" worker and alot of the times they are just doing their job and the company is scamming. in some cases the workers are just doing what they think is a normal job. in this case the guy isnt really getting mean and questions "you think this is a scam?" a person actually knowing they are scamming you would yell and cuss. its possible the scammer is an innocent man working for a scammer company and doesnt even know
I mean... Wubuntu isn't even that convincing to Windows users. And to be fair, it makes sense. It's just Ubuntu (or Kubuntu) with a Windows skin installed.
Just yes, if they don't realise it, it's probably the best way to confuse scammers. They should of seen what was on the desktop and in the task bar. But they didn't. Still quite awesome.
