This channel chronicles life lived closely within the natural world, its seasonal shifts, observing the wildlife passing through and the rhythms advancing; grouse drumming, peepers screeching, trumpeters honking, grosbeaks fluting. This journey is at times absurd, reflective, humorous, slapstick, thoughtful, silly, contemplative, and laughable, but never profane.
Lying about your age and gloating about being able to tear phone books in half.... got me laughing out loud again!!! This episode is top-notch, Daddio!
Hello Chris, I’ve been enjoying your channel since I found it a couple months back. How I found it was by searching videos about bogs. As a boy in the 60’s in WI , I was exposed to a few bogs and just loved the experience. We used to jump and make the trees move . I’m building a RU-vid channel also . It’s fun watching your channel grow as I am learning to grow mine. Maybe one day we will cross paths . Blessings to you friend Kevin
I'm glad to know you, Kevin. I too lived in WI for 40+ years before moving back to MN. Bogs are a wonder; your making "the trees move" is exactly one of the sorts of childhood fascinations I share with you.
I live in the UK..born and raised, but I did live in Dearborn heights Michigan right by Detroit for a few years. I owned a trailer with a forest at the back. I heard Coyotes going crazy like this one night...scared the life out of my gf at the time. In the morning by the stream was a huge dead buck which had been slightly eaten. I was shocked that they could bring down such a large animal. Could've been sick of injured I guess. Anyways, just thought I'd share. May Jesus bless you and your loved ones.
