They will change the requirements of work experience for the 482 visa from 2 years to 1 year in November/24 but in December/24 they will replace the 482 visa to the Skills in Demand Visa. Does it means this new 1 year work experience requirement will only last for 1 month?
my visa 482 short is taking forever to be approved... now 53 days since submission. Visa for Singapore took maybe 2 weeks, same for Malaysia... No wonder employers in AU will think twice before embarking into this ordeal of sponsoring workers.

Thank you for this video. But its really hard to find a sponsor now (482). Ive done with ANMAC already and sponsors wants that we have working rights/working visa before applying to them. So meaning we have to process it on our own.

Hi what happens if i applied for a 189 as a single applicant but have since met someone before my grant who plans to travel on a WHV and then applying for a partner visa in the future ?
Timescales definitely seem longer, UK citizen applying for a 2nd year whv now the changes have been implemented in July. My 1st year took 2 weeks in 2015 now over a month and still no change to the received status.
