Slow and steady is the key, really straight forward, made a huge difference. I’ve since put a wider set of those same convos pros on the back and still doesn’t rub (and looks rad)
I had been looking at this exhaust for about 6 months but Dinan's clip on their site wasn't the most convincing. Came across your review and was absolutely convinced that this was the perfect balance I was looking for in terms of exhaust note. Thank you!
Negative, not even once. You aren’t changing any sensor or anything in the process so nothing to trip or anything like that. It’s all down stream of the last o2 sensor
15x8.5 - 3 3/4 back space on the rear, 15x7 fronts, can’t remember the back space on them. I have 15x10 4 inch back space on the rear now still convo pros. I collect them haha
I didn’t no but I did cut out some of the plastic inner fender running out to the fender, about a 4 inch long by 1 inch section. With the front raised up just a bit it wouldn’t have been necessary but I just loved how low it looked initially.
FYI - JCW stock exhaust on EU car is a lie...no pops and bangs - only a fake one at start up !!! So it is a shame that a performance cars like this it is fully restricted !!! Still in warranty my JCW Countryman - a sport exhaust will be a must !
I test drove a JCW countryman recently and that was what actually made me want to change my stock Cooper S exhaust. The one I test drove DEFINITELY popped and banged. Maybe the regional rules/tuning is different. Good excuse to get a tuner! It’s 2 plugs, easiest install ever!
The DSG rumble between shifts is great! As far as the resonator, I’ve decided to leave mine as in sport mode it really is more rumbled/pops and snaps with the valve open and the resonator in place. With the resonator gone I’d be nervous that the system may drone on the highway or in general become just less controlled sound wise. I could be wrong but I’m happy with it as is haha
I have an R60, so a little different, but I have rewelded my pipes 3 times. You NEED a resonator for the hiway on the R60. I'm guessing F60 will be the same.
thank you for the video, I have the same car since July 2021 and still hasnt decide what exhaust to put on it since there is not one good video out there
