Hello I am trying to use this feature to make a moving background for my animation but I can’t draw outside the box. Is there any way I can do a moving background in Callipeg?
Hello, for now there is no camera tool in Callipeg and no way to draw outside the canvas. The only way would be to use a transformation layer to scale up your image then make the movement with keyframes or use that tutorial to make a parallax background with different layers: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9J0p3J6sdoY.html
I am in love with Callipeg. 😭❤ I only need a clipping mask option, and maybe the camera, nothing too fancy just being able to pan and zoom would be a DREAM! And I wouldn’t need for any other animation program ever. 🫡🫶
Hello, could you contact us via email to contact@enoben.com with more details about what’s happening? Including your iPad model, a video of the situation... it would help us understand what’s going on. Thank you. 🙂
Not at the moment. The only way to draw outside is with transformation layers. You can also create a larger canvas and add a layers with your layout so you can draw « outside your frame » in a way.
Bonjour, pouvez-vous nous envoyer un mail à contact@enoben.com avec davantage de précisions sur la situation ? Des vidéos aideraient beaucoup à cerner ce qui se passe.
I am looking for a good alternative to procreate. Unfortunately it has a limit on layers and frames which is very annoying. Does callipeg have a limit on the length of the video or on the amount of layers?
Hello, there is no limit other than the RAM and storage of the iPad. It is technically possible to create a few minutes long animation on an iPad but you have to divide your work into shots, like you would do on any animation production. One shot in your animation is one Callipeg file (which we name a shot). A shot is almost always 1 to 10 seconds long in an animation production. Each shot is its own file, and you export your shots once they are done to edit your film in a video editing software. There is no sheets or layers number limit in Callipeg: the only limit is your available storage and ram memory. The larger and longer a shot is, the more space and memory it will need.
@@Callipeg thank you for your detailed explanation and fast response! So if I understand correctly, if I wanna do a cartoon for e. g. for 20 minutes, I have to do a lot of shots (files), which I later will have to export to a video editor and put them all together? So unfortunately it is the same as in procreate? But I have seen that it is easier to have different layers on a single frame in Callipeg. Do I understand this correct? I am sorry for comparison of your app with your concurrents I am just a beginner in animation and would really like to get a good app to do cartoons.
@@t_t_e_a_a_s_t_i_r6839 You can have as many layers as you want (for line, color, background,... any element of your animation). But the length of the entire 20 minutes episode has to be divided: one file for each shot (each cut) of your storyboard. That's how it works in animation production, you have different files for different shots and then the post-processing parts is compositing and editing all your shots together within a compositing software then editing software. I hope this helps! :)
Hello, you can add markers in your timeline with a double tap on the ruler. You can then name the marker and add the color you want. I hope this helps!
