Is iridium or ruthenium better? Modern engines demand more power while using less fuel, shortening the life of traditional iridium and platinum spark plugs. NGK's patented ruthenium technology stands up better to wear to bring maximum durability and performance to your engine.
Posting this question hoping someone can shed some insight... I have a 2023 MDX Advance Package w/ HFA already installed. If I wanted to add this OEM hitch setup, would I need to replace the HFA unit? Or would it be something that can be relocated? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! :)
These bikes take up so little space and can be picked up for so little $$, It's worth it just to have for the heck of it! I bought a Post hole digger before just for a few holes... Now I have it if I ever need it. Same with this. What a fun thing to spend a day on and it costs you next to nothing. My brother in law had one, it feels too light to describe !
I was always told the ruthenium were pretty better the same as iridium ones but better in every way but i guess not? Would love to see lap testing of each of them to really see.
I’m in the market for a truck. And I see this 2017 Nissan titan SV crew cab with 43k miles on it. I test drive it and it feels amazing should I op in for one or go with a Toyota tundra. The titan goes for $26k tundra for $25k?
Can you set your driver profile so that your seat and side mirrors are set for you every time you get in the car and your profile is selected? I haven’t figured that one out yet so every time my wife or I get in the car we have to manually adjust our side mirrors and seat. It may not be a feature yet and have to wait for a software update.
Fisker had a lot of takers, they just pushed out a car a little too early and then the negative reviews started people 2nd guessing even though most of the early on car issues were software related. Service was slow so that upset people and then bankruptcy talk began in early 2024 and now here we are. If the software was in better shape then Fisker would likely be in a different position today. They needed money and it is now very obvious that Henrick and Geeta were in way over their heads as far as being able to ma age a car company.
So would you say the car isn’t rlly as bad as people are asking it out to be? Like of course it’ll have its tweaks…but that’s like any other car. But I am considering getting one, but just am rlly second guessing if this will be the right choice for me or not.
@@crunchbar2037 the car runs good. I don’t have all of the features that I paid for since those were going to happen with software updates 3.0 and 4.0 . That is a bummer since those updates may never come. Of course the future of the maintenance, warranty, future software updates are the big unknowns at this point. FOA, and others are working hard to address the future of the Oceans and to keep the cars on the road for a long time. As a member of FOA I am hopeful that their efforts will result in some unknown future for all Oceans. I do know I have saved over $2500 in gas after about 8 months of driving. That is a huge plus to me. Buying an Ocean at today’s prices is truly a bargain but it does come with risks.
we got a few fisker sports along with ones and oceans in UK they have been showing up at bca auctions , a sport went through on a may uk registered plate, 45 miles . Had a twenty grand start line , or say 25 k in US dollars , room full of buyers , not a raised hand or a eye blink , nada. My conclusion was only a bargain hunter/gambler would be up to buy one and i have made a new brand for those who do buy one which is a RISKER not a fisker
So are these maps updated or old maps. I have a 2017 and there is a ton of new roads and highways built in the last few years that aren't in my NAV. Would this fix that.
MUCH EASIER WAY: Tools: 3/8” drive 12mm & 14mm socket and 90 degree pick tool. The bumper comes off by itself without touching any other part. 1. Remove (2) 12mm bolts inside each wheelwell. 2. Pop the trim blocking the 14mm bolts with the pick tool, (3) bolts per side. 3. Pull the bumper off by pulling up slightly and towards you. Balance it on a crate and unplug only (1) connector in front of the right front (passenger side) wheel. The bumper wiring harness stays with the bumper when it is pulled off. Carmakers have been working with insurance companies for decades to reduce repair times to minimize insurance costs. This bumper comes off in about 15 minutes. You do not need to remove the grill or the trim panel above the bumper. When reinstalling the bumper notice the hooks which hook onto the mounting areas where the 14 mm bolts are. This makes it easier at the factory when building the truck. Also, when reinstalling the bumper, just put on the 14 mm boats loosely and then using your knee, make sure the bumper is centered from left to right by comparing the edge of the bumper to the wheelwell opening on each side of the truck.
While the look is clean I have 3 issues with this. 1) The lens is not adjustable. There should be some ability to as I believe there is too much of the hood being show 2) No sound to identify that the unit has powered on. I believe some of the earlier models had issues just dying after a month of use which was resolved. If this stops working you might not notice that small dim LED which shows if it is on. Even then you have no idea if it is working 3) With no voice you won't know if there is an issues with the microSD card With these issues IMO I would say to get a Viofo over this. Yes it might not look as hidden but I prefer functionality and knowing my device works or has some sort of issues instead of coming into a situation of an accident and then not having the video which I would need.
I have the exact same Black on Black Ocean One and love it. Perfect for Miami weather. Unfortunately the update 3.0 and 4.0 advanced features will not be released since they filed for bankruptcy. Those updates require manpower Fisker has already let go. The last release is 2.1which you may already have if you bought from a fisker dealer. Most US cars are still on 2.0. Be sure to register with the Fisker Owners Association as collectively they are working with FiskersBankruptcy procedings to figure out future parts, software access and servicing.
Wow. They could at least finish the software development but hey, it is what it is. I did sign up for the FOA and was on the call yesterday. Who is to tell where this might go, possibly end up as the car people wish they bought. 😄
@@btbuildthings I personally was planning on getting a second if the dealers were to fire sale post bankruptcy. Unfortunately American leasing got the wholesale deal the public was waiting for in the retail space.
Must be a unique problem. I have a 12 SV and a 21 Pro Titans and they have been great. The starter on my 12 was tricky to get to but other than that they've been good
Excited to watch this. Fisker Jacksonville is a well maintained and friendly staffed dealership. Nothing but top notch customer service and transparency when I went and looked at an Ocean.
Thanks! Just remember, the company filing for bankruptcy puts things in a sticky situation especially regarding warranty and parts. But if the Fisker Owner's Association can help with sorting things out after the legal dilemma, then it shouldn't be too bad. I guess I'm living on the edge with this one but I'm enjoying every minute of it. 😊
