I’m pretty sure I only have an I03. I don’t even care about going from the 4 inch to the 8inch screen. I just want Bluetooth audio. I just want a solution that’s not straight up highway robbery.
Has anyone ordered from these guys? I ordered this morning after looking at their website and videos for a few days and now I can't access their website on any device at all, like it's blocking me. I keep getting multiple redirect errors on laptops and phones, multiple browsers, wifi or LTE... I can't even see their webpage anymore and that's concerning.....
You can basically get these modules at a pick and pull. Most likely will need to be programmed to vehicle once installed. That may be the real way to go.
@@ARealPain I did. It's installed and mostly works great. I got the Motorola M1 dongle because the ottocast thing is complete trash. You loose song changing on the wheel but that doesn't bother me. What pissed me off is I had a few months of free XM radio and it's not on the new HMI/RADIO they sent. They never said I'd lose it so now I just don't have it which is a PITA.
There are many steps and the pieces are plastic. From my point of view, they may break. It is not worth all this trouble, and there may be easier solutions.
I have a cadillac 2013 no nav only compass. I want to install nav. Is this a shop where I can take the suv and have someone do it for me? How much and where? I live in Glendale California
when pulling the HMI be careful. Mine on my 2016 was in there pretty tight and when I went to pull it I sliced my forearm open on the bottom lip of the glove box. It's just plastic but is sure peeled the skin back and cut in pretty deep. And I used a pair of needle nose pliers to undo the middle three plugs, was way easier than fighting them.
Why wouldn't this work over bluetooth? Since you can add your phone for hands free calling and can play music over bluetooth connection. I don't understand the need for the cord.
Android auto is a software so while it will play music and do texting over Bluetooth if you don't have the software built into the module and it will not screen mirror.
Does this negate the hang up feature? Or does it still work with the phone? Seams like a small thing, but just wondering if I go to hang up a call will my screen switch camera views?
You have to hit the Hang-up Button twice to pull up the Cameras. So Hang-up, it won't pull up the Cameras. If you are on a Phone Call and want to pull up the Camera, it will Hang-up the call.
You are missing Wiring and Harnessing to connect that. The Receiver will also need to be programmed to work in your Camaro. www.gm-navigation.com/shop/chevy-camaro-mylink-harness-kit/
Yes there is, we don't have a GMC page yet, but it is the same as the Chevy page. Message us through the website if you have any questions. www.gm-navigation.com/shop/2015-2019-chevy-mylink-8-inch-screen-upgrade/
As a whole package I have a 2015 Escalade esv with the overhead tvs and want to do the bypass on the nav lockout, want apple CarPlay and phone mirroring, with the package on your website I can get all these features?
