I love how the vulture, in the last couple of minutes, spread his wings, did a flight check and was prepared for quick takeoff. Frankly, I think he waited a little too long. But he knows better than me.
This is why villagers in India wear masks of a persons face on the back of thier heads when walking or working in the fields. Tigers like to attack from behind but get confused by a face on both sides.
That TV knew exactly where it's enemy was, it kept looking to its right as if to say I know where the threat is on my left, just need to check something isn't flanking me from the right. Very cool and composed. 1
The coolest part of this whole video was. Seeing how completely aware the, Bobcat, was of the guy filming. The T V. was an impressive size. Easily a linebacker.
Bobcats kill a great number of wild Turkeys every year. Many flocks have declined because of it, because they are easier to sneak up on than the Turkey Vulture. Had this cat came up from behind, it may have been a different story for the Vulture. We'll never know.
I am not sure a Bob cat could take down this vulture...then again the vulture didn't want to risk a fight maybe the leftovers were not worth the stand off
