This is a range extender which means that it will only extend the coverage of your existing wifi. This Wi-Fi can be from a router, hotspot or any other source. Without a router you cannot have a wifi connection. So if you have wifi network then you already have a router also.
Hi. Unfortunately there aren’t many places from you can buy instructions. Keep visiting my channel regularly as I add new model every two to three weeks.
Thank you for you amazing explanation. I got a question please . I'll be starting working from home very soon and my company requires me to use cable internet only , no Wi-Fi. As I'm renting and live in the basement (main router is upstairs , very far from my location) I was initially thinking to install new internet line in the basement but it'll cost me more than $600 a year. I was therefore wondering if I could use this extender and link it to my iMac , using an ethernet cable?
Hi. Sure you can connect with this extender using an Ethernet cable. First setup the extender by following the instructions in the video, then connect with extender using Ethernet cable and you are good to go. If your router has a WPS button then press it and press the middle circular button on this extender for an automatic setup.
Technically speaking a repeater is the one that recreates the signal and then transmit it. extender amplifies the signal received and then transmit it. From an end user point of view there is no difference. We use it to get better wifi signals away from the router.
Hello! Thank you for the video. After a while, can you recommend this case? Does it not leave dust scratches on the laptop itself? I am considering this option for purchase.
Hi. This is the perfect case for the MacBook Pro. I am still using it and after one year of regular use it is still in perfect shape. Totally recommend to buy this case without any doubts.
A very helpful review, thank you. Can you please tell me, if I wish to use the repeater just as an access point, do I need to keep the cable from my router connected after setup? Or can it be wirelessly connected to the router and still work as an access point? Thank you
