It's all coming on well there, looking good Jay. A man of mystery is Brian. I remember Bri's dad many moons ago, a gent he was. Interesting old photos. The bloke in The Krankies used to work on the Torpoint ferry, not a lot of people know that.
Just to say when we used to pack bikes in AEC 1st bike left side handle bars facing left, 2nd bike again 1st bike handle bars to right and so on ,that way they interlocked with slight lean towards front headboard.
Summer is nearly over , may be a good idea to get a volunteer painting crew in. And get the wagon and the ride prepped and painted.. if i was nearer, as an ex waltzer boy, if i was nearer, i would of offered my services , . Enjoy the videos anyway jay..
It was good to hear Luck Brian mention Henry James, one of the old showman, Henry had a small yard right across the road from our house in Helston, and that's where he kept his wagons and caravan, and in winter they use to sell fire wood to the houses, his son was called Arthur, and I use to go in his yard and help them chop the firewood for 2/- glad to hear you tell Lucky Brian to stir the paint first with a stick, you can't shake a 5lts tin of paint and mix it properly, you can if you put it on a electric paint shaker, love all your videos Jay, watch up at the boat and all these videos 👍
Nice one jay, Look forward to the pull down and then starting on the waltzer, Big thumbs up to Brian did he say he would buy me a pint , And give my regards to scotty,,, Top man.
As your a channel member the today's video of the speedway I'll do it for you to be the first to see it I'm still editing it so once it's done and I upload to you tube I'll set it to members firs
Not sure well not as far as I know he was going to buy it off Shane Rowland in the yard but Shane sold it to someone else but I don't know who too but ill will ask for you
When pushing the platforms around 2hr 10min I'm afraid to say that you weren't pushing nothing jay... Far too close to the centre to be pushing or taking any weight. One slip from the guys on the outside could be catastrophic for yourself. Stay safe man🤞🏻
Would love to know what, s going to happen next to the old b series lorry is it going to have a new box on her frames again or are you going to replace with another lorry from John and Nora here in kidlington in oxfordshire
Would love to see the eight wheeler have a new coat of paint and see it up and running to tow the ark load behind it someday from John and Nora here in kidlington in oxfordshire
Nice to see Brian back he done well getting all those greatings done yous have all done well with the ride looking forward to seeing it out hope we get same coverage with the waltzer.
Jay I think you should be using Marine Ply to make all the stuff in the boat, the cheap chip wood your using if it gets wet it will swell and fall apart, you say your going to fiberglass it all like your seat box's, well your not fiber glassing the inside of the boxes, Always use Marine Plywood for boats, not chipboard,👍
good point but I'm not using the boxes anymore iv got metal seat post now and they are sitting on a bit of plywood that will be fiber glassed in to the floor which the floor is metal and not wood cheers jay
Jay you said you was going to put your boat on wood blocks to repair the trailer, I have watched a lot of other people that is restoring boats like yours, and they all put the boat on some old car tyres, you can get free car tires from any garage or tyre place, cause they got to pay to get rid of them, and up at the speedway you say Brian is a painter 😅 I have never seen anyone like Brian and Scotty open a tin of paint and use it without giving it a good stir with a stick, I tells you on the tin to give it a good stir, not a couple of shakes, all the paint goes to the bottom and the oil goes to the top, I heard Scottie said this Dulux is a bit thin, 🤔 it will be cause he is just using the oil on top, TELL THEM BOTH TO STIR THE PAINT FIRST 👍
Brian is a legend, a man amongst men. He loitereth around my district of Cornwall, frequently imparting his wisdom and cheery demeanor on all. This man is wasted on the brushes. He deserves the finest wines and loose women known to mankind. Can you provide this for him Jay ? Respect to Bri, an absolute tip-top man. More of Sir Brian.
