Actually, it's quite boring. And an idea of rehearsing the exact words you gonna say is pretty bad.

(coming here from the coursera course too) I know we're supposed to feel like this is an example of ineffective communication because of the formal language, but I think there really is a target market for this kind of presentation format and these types of in-depth can honestly be really helpful. It's not 'an attempt to be professional' the man was literally able to discuss the origin of the pecha kucha, explain how to plan for and make one step by step, and provide us with tips and recommendations all in SEVEN MINUTES! He taught us about pecha kucha through a pecha kucha. This is literally so well done I don't understand what the coursera bro is yapping on about. The only people this format would not work for are people in a rush and people that want to know everything in a 30 second reel lmao All the positive comments only prove how helpful this video was. Thank you, Mr. Marcus!

I'm sitting for a final examination board in a few days. It is Linguistics and I find this topic rather difficult to understand. This video was really useful! Thank you so much for sharing. BTW if I pass Linguistics, I graduate as an English teacher :) Thanks for sharing, Marcus!

This stuff is so simple and yet so difficult - and it costs you hours of your time, especially when having to make a deadline this can be a killer. Thank you for making a short and simple video about it that points right to the solution.

Dr. Hightower: I cannot thank you enough for this! Nothing addressed Word for Mac and nothing was presented in such a clear and concise fashion! I'm finishing my dissertation/project and I was going to beg my proofreader to help me with this! Like many things, asking the right question the right way brought me to your video. Manny many thanks with deepest gratitude!

In as much as this sounds interesting... I find it a bit much on just the chapter of findings. I have analysed and reviewed a lot of qualitative studies but non have mentioned this style of reporting findings. The reasons are that S & C in SQC are taking so much of what should be in the next chapter of discussion. Also, for researchers that has about 7-12 participants, how does just quoting one persons response in a paragraph give such a well balanced report of the theme underwhich the quotes are stated. Lastly, is there any article or studies by which this SQC are based on?

Honestly, after reading so many books on discourse analysis. Watching several RU-vid videos and still feeling incapable of how to actually use it to interpret my data; then I found your video. Thank you so much!! I’m writing up my dissertation and I’m so grateful.
