Nice wheelie practice bro! Its cool people can recognize safe to eat berries. My lady can its trippy. Im a city kid so idk about all that haha. He should have cleaned them off first. Who knows with this economy what led him to do that but im glad they got something to eat. nice video. The way you worked the point of interest into the title was good too. It was a nice branding element and gives people an extra reason to click on the vid
Thanks! I definitely wouldn't know those were safe to eat either! I've been doing these videos for some years now. So after a while it's like you've used all the basic video titles. That adds to the fun of it though. Much love breh.
This is an old video, a month or so ago it was fixed, then now it's having problems with low oil pressure again. Waiting for my mechanic to look at it again.
Learning is hard so my main tip is be patient. Clutch it up, focus on staying on the gas until you're uncomfortable and then hit the brake. Just do that over and over again for atleast 30 minutes-hour every day or as much as possible. Something that helps me a ton is putting my left foot underneath the footpeg and pulling upwards on it. To lock myself on to the bike. I'll go ahead and link you the best how to wheelie video on youtube too, you have to watch most of the whole thing to really get the most out of the video. Even when he starts talking about advanced tricks. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WFpdAluZRmk.html Also if you don't feel comfortable leaving your foot on the ground then don't, but hook it under the foot peg instead like I talked about ^. He also talks about it later in the video, but he primarily uses it to hold on for no hands and one hands. That video, and putting in seat time and being patient is what helped me the most, but I am still learning as well.
@@YvesSaintSavant Of course! Everytime that ground is dry and you got the free time, hit a parking lot! That Seattle life has to be hard for riding though, so I feel for you.
Look, if I wanted to look at a cell phone sized screen I would not be watching videos on a full size wide screen puter monitor. Finally somebody that gets it!! To hell with the shorts. We wth full screen monitors need to be able to BLLOCK all shorts and force all people who post on here to be wide screen only!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Right!!! For some reason they get crazy traction w/ views usually, but they are so lame. So I'll always be uploading the widescreen or full length versions whenever I upload a short now.
Those are also nice bikes. My big bikes been in the shop for a long time now, but I will be real I kinda prefer just practicing on the Grom over everything.
@@kawaiiowen3418 Where I live the cops don't play that, especially if the offender is the wrong "persuasion". I wouldn't risk something like that becoming another sad headline
@@residentrump3271 Sometimes you have to take risks in life, but I doubt I will be a sad headline ever because of this. Thanks for your concern though.
They are Renthal FatBars with a Ricky Charmichael High Bend, to use them on the Grom you will need the ProTaper 7/8th - 1 1/8th Universal Handlebar Conversion Kit. I honestly have grown to love them even though they are very low compared to what most people run. Plus they are a lot harder to bend than 7/8ths protaper bars or the OEM bars.
You're giving me hope to finally overcome the fear of Balance Point, keep it up! Do you have any tips on how to keep the bike straight on the back wheel / how to steer it? Is it more about upper body position or do you do that with your knees? Already lowered my tire pressure but didn't help much...
Thanks! Keep trying you can't get worse. Most of steering is with your hips, I use a little bit of my knees and turning the bars, but that mainly just to adjust my hips.
Also you can come down from a wheelie crooked still as long as there is room for that, so you don't necessarily have to be going straight in a wheelie. Just because it starts curving out of control doesn't mean you can't stay on the bike straighten it out and save your wheelie. For now I'd just focus on getting to balance point and bringing it down. Don't even worry about the side to side control that will come after.
Definitely not a pro, but I've actually never looped the Grom, but I did come down crooked and dropped the bike the other day. I looped my big bike chasing power wheelies twice, but it's been over a year.
@@reaperhusk313 bro its worse than that some start off on a 600 thinking its too small...as if you are going to go 300 kph anywhere that isnt a track..
@@reaperhusk313 my first road bike was still a kawaski eliminator 125. but yeah i joke about it with the homies all the time. could hop right on my fully bagged out 1300cc electra glide day 1 if you really wanted xD
Did you start practicing your wheelies on your main bike? I wanna practice but kinda scared of dropping it since it's my main means of transportation @@kawaiiowen3418
These haters always gotta one up someone and tell them what they're doing wrong, when that someone is trying to just learn. So if you're like me and learning just don't listen to the haters, especially ones with no videos of them riding. Sorry that me dropping back at 0:57 wasn't soon enough in the wheelie and precise enough and good enough. Sorry I am not a professional stunt rider and I'm just some guy who rides for his own enjoyment. As much as I love my subs and my likes at the end of the day I do this RU-vid stuff because I like doing it. I like riding my bikes and making videos and maybe someday I will be professional or maybe I won't, but my only goal is just to enjoy the ride and get better. The best way to do that is seat time. (AKA time in the seat, time spent riding practicing like this etc etc...).
Why do you rev so much doing a wheelie? Pull up and put in Neutral or keep holding clutch, control the bike on the rear brake. Revving engine while on a wheelie will overheat engine very quickly due to lack of oil (oil goes to the back of the engine) and air to cool it down
I'll try to pull the clutch in today, I just am learning is all. I'm also going to work on pulling it up in 2nd more consistantly now too. I think I'm confident enough I don't need the engine braking as much so can probably rock w/ 2nd and pull the clutch in fs.
Hey! Would it be ok to feature your clip in a video we're making? You'll be credited with a on-screen watermark and in the description/pinned comment. Do you mind explaining what happened?
Yes go for it, the guy crossed a double yellow line infront of me where I had the right of way, but I straightened out and braked in the turn to not hit him or get hit?
