Very large ego to say the least ! Also I,ve noticed he seems to be trying to tempt the the youngsters over to his show, as he is playing more Radio 1 type songs / music. Wishful thinking from his radio 1 days gone by, Them days have gone steve, do me a favour and retire,
I listen to Radio 2 at home & work & I do like Steve Wright in the afternoon, especially as he starts his slot with the following: 'This is Steve Wright on the big show from 2pm to 5pm, hallo' in his very Cockney accent! I like his other name DJ Silly Boi on Serious Jockin' on a Friday afternoon from 4.15pm to 5pm when he then says 'This is DJ Silly Boi peace we out as I drop the mic' then the feedback as he does so, always brings a smile to my face that it does!

I like the tune but LOSE THE SAXOPHONE! It does nothing for the tune and I hope someone from the BBC reads this 'cause it makes the, absolutely great otherwise, theme sound like something from "Cheers" or something.
