Ah, and not sure how I missed this - but, again, entirely awesome. The textural stuff around the beat is so cool and complex, it tickles the brain cells very enjoyably!
Very cool - I think the visuals might have been affecting my interpretation, but it felt like there was something which reminded me of Squarepusher going on there - though also, as ever, very much its own thing too. Keep up the good work man!
@@3kuad oh, well you are in for a fucking treat if you do! He's been at it for decades, but I'd say Go Plastic is a very strong introduction... Wasn't suggesting you were copying him! Just an interesting coincidence 😁
Delicious! Those strings remind me of the noises in The Shining, very atmospheric. The whole thing has a beautifully organic flow, writhing and unfolding from some eldritch liminal space into the ears ...
More lovely stuff, boss, as ever. I wonder if you have any interest in mentioning the module choices going on for these? I know a patch breakdown would ruin the visuals, and that's not the idea. But something simple like an idea of what voices are playing, or what effects are going on. No worries if you'd prefer to keep the mystery, just interested in what's generally going on ... see what you think.
Thank you! No mystery and usually not a problem, but I unpatched this about 10 days ago and I don't remember the details. I know the little bass line was Befaco Pony going through the Disting Mk4 tape delay, I think. The other voice is 2hp Pluck being sequenced by Pam's Pro Workout. Some mangling of that sequence would have been done either by Nebulae, Data Bender, Monsoon, Morphagene or Miso Cornflakes, or a combination. Hope that helps
This is lovely. I think Pluck might have the highest niceness-to-HP ratio of anything in my rack. It always seemed like my cat used to enjoy watching the Rample too, although the dancing light display on PAMs would entertain her as well ... Easy sub, from this and some other stuff. I'll have more of a look later too. It's possible that we might share some similar aesthetic as well, so perhaps see if you like anything on the channel if you have a spare moment. But keep up the good work!
Just looked at a couple including this ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-E9aSEyKqNaQ.htmlsi=RK4KvGaGniOi6QUB Liked. Yes, you're right, aesthetically we have things in common. I'll check out more later
Sounds great! I've experimented with similar sounds using the multisample playback on Disting EX and some quantizers. The Mimeophon at the end sounds really good
