Thanks for the video! ❤ I’m a current student of NYIAD Interior Design course and so far I’m loving it! I’ve always had a passion for Interior Design and I design my family and friend’s homes as a hobby. However, I wanted to learn the foundations and to find an online course that leads to certification was heaven sent (and my employer paid for it)! The student profile and courses are very user friendly. The only con I can think of is that the videos are a bit outdated, but they’re still relevant and they have recently updated the course content, which is a plus! It’s definitely worth enrolling for those of you who are contemplating!
Yeah... the title is very misleading because you're not building steps for $15, you're just refinishing existing steps. Maybe "refinishing pet steps" would be better. Also, there are some great tutorials out there on how to use spray paint correctly. I'm sure your results will turn out much better and last longer if you use apply it correctly and evenly! 🙂
I just finished the interior design program from NYIAD. Overall I think it’s a good program. Not horrible and not absolutely perfect either. It took me about 7months to complete and I learned a lot about the design process, furniture styles, and how to make a floor plan. I got all A’s on my assignments and quizzes which in my opinion were relatively easy. Communication with the school was fine. Cons were some of the course material was outdated, the videos that went along with it was a waste of time and upload feature on some assignments were not the best. With all that being said if you are looking to learn more about design and are going to use this as a step in your education it’s good for that! Good luck designers
Were you able to get your degree and/or become certified as a professional Interior Designer through this course? I’m just trying to get my foot in the door and see how to get properly certified. I’m a stay at home mom of two and this is something I’m VERY passionate and excited about. I just don’t know how to go about it haha
@@Kelseyshea224 I am about to try and apply to this and I am a stay at home mom too. They do allow u to have the opportunity to get certified it does cost money along with the course. It is an accredited course

How do you like the school so far? I’m thinking of signing up but I’ve seen a lot of mixed reviews, but most of them are older. So I was curious as to your updated perspective?
yh its way less then youtube who pays around $1-$5 per 1,000 views on average, I have had a very similar experience, I blew up from useing a sound over the top of my toy coaster. got 19k followers and my views were up to 1.5m a day for 2 days and then 400k views a day for about a week after, but now its leveled out around 50-150k a day thats around 50p to £2 ish
