AlzAuthors is the global community of authors writing about Alzheimer's and dementia from personal experience to light the way for others. Managed by a volunteer staff who have each experienced the pain of losing a loved one to dementia, our mission is to provide quality resources for caregivers and others concerned with these conditions. We carefully vet books, blogs, podcasts, and more to find the best resources busy caregivers need to manage the care of their loved one. We feature a new author on our blog biweekly, interview authors on our Untangling Alzheimer's and Dementia podcast, provide a carefully categorized bookstore to help you find exactly what you're looking for, host virtual events with our authors on a variety of topics related to caregiving, and more. Find us at AlzAuthors.com. Remember: You are not alone.

As a younger sister of someone who has just died of Alzheimer's, I thank Jane from the depths of my heart for sharing this with those of us who have been through it in so many different ways. She is so open and articulate about the process and still retains a sense of 'what will be, will be,' but with so much love and understanding behind it.

I'm so happy for you Richard. Too many people reject the idea of an assisted living community & it makes life harder for all involved.

Wendy, I’ve just finished listening to your audio book. I came across it on Audible out of the blue and even though I have no direct experience of dementia or someone living with it, something made me want to read it - probably my own fears of the unknown and the knowledge of what may await anyone of us. I have to say that you are one of the most incredibly refreshing, honest individuals I’ve ever had the fortune to listen to. You’re an absolute inspiration, not just to those living with or affected by your condition but to anyone who truly takes the time to absorb your words. You have shared powerful insight that can help anybody, anywhere and I just wanted to express my appreciation and admiration for you and the positivity that you embody. Much love!
