Am I the only one who thinks this kinda sucks? It’s basically everything I don’t like in modern metal. There doesn’t seem to be any real melody, at least not that I can hear. The whole thing sounds incredibly artificial, like it was made from a sound effects library. In the attempt to make every song as “heavy” as possible, the guitar is tuned so low that every note just sounds the same. It just becomes a wall of noise and not in a good way. It feels like one lengthy, extended build up but it doesn’t build in an interesting or subtle way, and it leads to nothing. If people like this that’s cool. Obviously music is subjective and this is all just my opinion, but I found this to be incredibly boring and uninspired. I don’t see the appeal.
