I think that extremism in opinions is trendy in social media. Marriage and divorce are both Qadar, things that happen in life, and just because a woman is divorced does not mean that she is bad or wrong. Sheikh Bin Baz has two fantastic books that every muslim should read: guidance for muslims and the authentic creed and invalidators of Islam. Another fantastic book is the Prophets prayer by Sheikh Al Albani. Other than that: - Seerah: the sealed nectar - Aqeedah: - aqeedah wasitiyyah, kitab at tawheed (get these with scholarly explanation), Al-Qawa'aid al-Arba'ah. For tafsir: tafsir as- sa’di (easier than ibn kathir and its good for beginners). If your not able to buy these books then there are explanations online for example AMAU did a tafseer series using tafseer as- sa’di and they explain a lot of other books that are beneficial.

Honestly I'm a stay at home wife/mom and prefer it that way because it helps the family but it is only good when husbands are also traditional qawaam of the family otherwise it's a hell and a trap in modern days. If there's abuse or something wrong happens there's no choice but to suffer and be dependent because there are no fathers and brothers to take daughters back. Yes the feminist tear this structure apart. And as wrong and dangerous as it is it is not the only risk in a society that doesn't offer genuine protection to women. Very few women are genuinely privileged to enjoy the perks of a traditional wife.

I think i know where the person's question came from. The way salam givens and the called Ustadz generally used in Malaysia. And ofcourse there is nearly 30% population are ethnically chinese. There's a bit of tension between Chinese (Majority non muslim) and Malay (95% are muslim). The tension is not because due to religion, but more of culture or racial issue.
Probably more accurate to say specific Chinese cultures such as the Han ethnicity. They were voted the WORST tourists. Similar to how I don't like Black people. Wa Salaam
I really like Chinese people. They are hard working and are resilient under difficulties. I visited China many years ago and I found them to be impressive as they work long hours but find happiness in simple things like spending time close friends and family. I also found almost no crime there as well.
