Not sure what happened to this comment whether it posted earlier or not, but I save them just in case.... Same as last week. Let your balance and form lead the way. Stay cool, calm and collected off the track to stay as mentally enegized for race time. And hey, I think that calm approach had you in a better mindset on the start. Maybe that's part of the mental aspect of getting holeshots for you. I don't think anything is coincidence. But it's gotta feel good to have some pressure off with a points gap. Definitely gotta play that card now you have it in terms of relaxing. I see a good day for the #4. Focus on potential problems areas and just be patient and aware of them every lap. Stay in the moment and eyes open for new lines and track conditions. And let's try to grab an easy dub today and put this thing closer to bed.

Top of the board! Look cool and collected out there. See the patience and confidence all at the same time. That's a good sign. Stay cool on the line up. Calm is confidence.

Mistakes happen. It's ALL GOOD! Great results considering that start. Lessons learned going into moto 2. Still have a comfortable gap. DO NOT SAY ANYTHING NEGATIVE TO YOURSELF OR ABOUT YOURSELF. Nah, shake it off, count the positive and set your mind and heart on whatever improvements you can make going into moto 2. Great race Champ!

Don't know if this posted after moto 2. Not showing on my end. Well, if it didn't... Whoa, what a title ride that was! It definitely wouldn't have been good to hype Hunter with a 1-1 going into that last race. That was CLUTCH! Great ride. Awesome heart. Thank you so much for letting me be totally happy with this weekend! This is my hometown race by the way. From the DC/PG area. Congrats!!? 1 mo to go! !! 🏆🏆🏆🏁🏁🏁🍾🍾🍾🎉🎉🎉💪💪💪

Let's get it Mr. Man! It's all about the number 4! It's time to keep the pressure off and love the position you're in. You've got the skill, the motivation, the position. Time to keep captaining this ship all the way to Redemption Island. Keep your ears perked. Stay focussed on your problem areas. Stay sharp as you stay fast. Let's see if we can get a holeshot and make it easy. But clean a clean start will always do. Nothing crazy. Stay positive! Try to keep it light off the track to stay as fresh minded on the track! Let's look forward to some good racing!

Glad to see you bring that one home! You had to push it to the edge to go for it. Yeah, Hunter's working with a better bike now. He was able to put that thing wherever whenever. But hey, improvements are and can be made both ways. Awesome race. Great heart! Great skill! Head high! That was some great racing and that moto was a lot to learn from technically and line wise. 💪🏻👏🏼👍🏼

Whooooooo!!! That was a clutch performance! You looked super technical, patient and smooth. Absolutely artful riding. What a difference a holeshot makes! I hope this is the first of many. Made my day dude! So happy for you. Kept your composure and carried that calm onto the track. And I'm sure you learned something about bike setup because your style was night and day first to second moto. One step closer to the title! Great day! Congrats!!! 🏁🏁🏁🏆🏆🏆🍾🍾🍾🎉🎉🎉

When the pressure's off 'cause your competitor's out and you know you're the best in the 450 class you could definitely fly like that. I think chase has it to beat jet every time he just gotta get the confidence when jet is on track.

I think by now you've formed all your winning habits in the pits and on the track. Just stay the you you've become and keep all the storylines out of your head. Leave those things to the media and the fans. You've definitely seemed to have figured some things out mentally in your approach to the track. At this point, the 41st rider is your only real competition. The answer to that is to just form as healthy of a relationship with the track as possible. Vibe with that 41st rider. See him as a partner and teammate and make him your positive focus. Every relationship has it's focal points for success based on past experiences. You know what that is with you and the track. The turns. But I see you putting extra special attention and effort into the turns. It's visible. And that's all any relationship needs to succeed. Attention to detail and consistent effort. Besides that, the hardest thing to do now is probably staying sharp and motivated. On that note, once again, it's all about what you choose to make your focus. The exact words I gave another rider on his rookie debut, who is doing insanely well now, were these exact words... "Don't focus on winning. Don't focus on podiuming. FOCUS ON FOCUSSING." I pass that same advice to you. Make focussing your focus. Your own personal endeavor of every race. Being focussed, sharp and mentally in control at all times. Make that your goal and focus and you'll always have motivation no matter how much you're winning or winning a race by.

Beauuutiful riding! Bravo. So dialed. When they followed you around the track a couple laps when you were 5th or so, I said "He's gonna win this race". I saw how you figured it out and got the flow. When you figure out and piece together a track... It's over. Congrats 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 . Time to dial in again and do it again 👍🏼

Why Chase rides with a heart rate strap? I also train a motocross and in a gym but I don't understand the point. How can knowing my heart rate benefit my riding? Please enlighten me, I am not asking to judge I just want to learn.
@Gamalier1972
@Gamalier1972 Месяц назад
When you train with a heart monitor you can learn your heart rate zone numbers. They have a range based on effort. Knowing that is helpful. If you know at all times in which zone you are, then you will know how hard you can push, conserve energy, breathe, etc. Look at it like the cruise control in. car. Settle and cruise, climbing a hill? Increase rpm to keep speed constant. In road cycling is one of the most used tool. The HR monitor and the powermeter are 2 most used tools.
