Truly the best engine swap for all the Porsches (except the RSR which is the EcoBoost V6), the best swap for them is the Turbo S Flat 6.

Built mine into a 400+ build, to make it a true GTE racecar, but instead, went for the 3.9L V8 (Pista) on this to make the high speed 10.0, and power at 9.4

The speed of this and the Spider, is to trade-off for how cheap it is to 400+ Just needed it's 4.5L V8 to get it to 400+

The main source of that 3.8L V8 engine that is often used as an engine swap. The Coupe can hit 400+ just with it's own 3.8L V8, but the Spider needs the 458's V8.

It has to do with color zones I believe. If your car is one solid color in manufacturer colors then I think it applies to the whole car.
