It's such a shame that this game decided to brand itself as pure fan service, making many people to not take it seriously. It has unique mechanics, and it's easy to pickup but hard to master. It was mad fun. Oh, the crap online didn't help either, like come on
I always thought SFA3 should be played like this: all players using the same ISM. In the end of the day, SFA3 offers us three games in one, four if you count Classic Mode.
I've cold-booted with the settings intact, so there's no way an F3 reset cleared them. The settings being in Japanese, too...did another version somehow get loaded??? The white build text certainly says "this is the Japanese version".
There are just tiers and classes of difference between players like JWong MvC2 and Khaos. JWong did this without playing or practice. If Jwong had stayed current these would 9-1 matchup for him.

This is like watching someone training for 15 years to beat greatness after greatness has moved on for a decade. It's like watching Paul train to take on Tyson. If the greats had maintained their skill in Marvel, all of these players would have 10-0'd Khaos. Matrix was C or D tier back in the day and he was all that Khaos could handle.
