With due respect Mr. Zakir from Shangla has got degree in Urdu, but he can't understand difference between literature and history. We lost half Punjab and half Bengal to India/Congress, which were Muslim majority provinces. Moreover, Allama Iqbal is no doubt dear to all of us, but historical facts are very bitter. Dr. Allama came down from the theories of world wide nationalism on the basis of religion (or Pan Islamism) to Pakistani, Bengali nationalism while the muslims, who were left behind in India on the mercy of Hindus after 1947, lost their national identity (Now we call them the Muslims of India) and as a result of the partition, the Muslim Ummah in India got divided on the basis of geographical nationalism. However, we Pakhtoons are not studying history and don't have a watch on the present political scenario across the world. That is why we Pakhtoons are laging behind in all walks of life. In fact, with due respect, our educated people are illiterate. Pakistan Zindabad!
The Pakhtoon poets should not merely get stuck to the cheeks of the beloved. There is more to do beyond that. They should focus on the historical and present global issues, and particularly the victimization of the poor nations or helpless people.
These poets are doing great job, raising voices against the injustices done to the poor and the social inequity in the society. However, they should adopt Muslim nationalism alongside Pakhtoon nationalism. Pakhtoon culture has adopted many norms from our religion, but our studies are poor. They should also talk on the miseries and victims done to the poor and helpless Palestinians, as Mullahs have turned blind eyes to the brutalities in Palestine.
