Shit happened. I can't say I'm surprised with a cheap hoist...but you also should have lowered the engine once you were clear...but I'm sure you know this now.
a psa on engine hoists, damn. At least it didn't get an aggravated assault charge ! Resisting arrest. I got my lift from Craigslist, you know, where everyone used to shop.
I though that hoist looked sketchy. I've done the same thing for moving an engine hoist. On my shitty chinesium stand I just extended the legs about 5 inches

It took me all of 13 seconds watching to subscribe some time ago. He didn’t even have to ask nor tell me how either 🤷♂️ Now I wait patiently for uploads and sigh in disbelief when I see his views range from 1500-2500 per video. Absolutely underrated, but I imagine if he became popular like VGG he’d be catering to Hollywood
