@@silverpotato4272 when did i say otherwise? the point is we cant decide on a stage list despite there being many clearly balanced stages. like theres no reason sephiroth’s stage shouldnt be legal whatsoever.
The Kazuya can react to the direction you’re DIiny during hitstun and follow it to guarantee the nair spike. However, you can *change* the direction during while you’re stunned and right before you’re actually launched, and that’s not something they can react to. That’s *the* counterplay.
I learned that lesson when I played against a kazuya on fd. somebody told me to do it no balls so I said I would but I lost 2 rounds in a row so I banned it
