show people you can build things without having a nice big shop with all the best tools $$$ I have always had to build according to tools at hand limiting my projects. my imagination has always raced past my pocket book! watch my channel and see "your" ideas may be possible with the tools you already have and within your price range.
I must implore you to seek out a waterproof box for your power. Your battery and power supply look as though it would fit me 50 cal box. You can get one of those at Harbor Freight for 10 bucks. I am not the least bit surprised at that bucket collapsed on you with that pump on there. I always wanted to do something like this myself looks like fun. I almost forgot, when it comes to Placer mining, go deep or go home.
Thanks for watching and commenting, I'll definitely waterproof before going back out. And the "gold-thing" move boulders, gravel bars, and metal detecting and still nothing worth mentioning 😑 so I'll just keep building things to make gold easier to find. I try to put out a video each week so I hope you subscribed so you don't miss the next one. Thanks again.
Shame to see you got those Japanese Knotweed growing all over where you were doing your second test in the water barrel. Those are a blacklisted species in many countrys and in many states of the US. Also, your bucket did exactly the same as my bucket 😛 I used a too big pump though so even after reinforcing mine it buckled. I guess this is why they use the hydrojets instead.
Thanks for watching and commenting. Yeh that knotweed is everywhere and as thick as a cornfield. The bucket dredge wasn't expected to work that well, and now am jonesing to get back to the river for some real prospecting. I try to put out a video per week so I hope you subscribed so you don't miss the next one. Thanks again for watching.
I live in the nw Georgia mountains...I totally appreciate having to do things for myself for my family. This was a wonderful video and I am now a subscriber.
Thanks for watching and subscribing, I would love to live in the mountains, like where we filmed. I'm glad you enjoyed it and I try to get out a video per week so hit that bell so you don't miss the next one. I have 3 more railroad speeder videos to make, but having trouble getting back on the railroad, ( a club has it rented for the summer) nearest railroad is miles & miles from me. We'll find one! Thanks again.
That is absolutely awesome, can you send me a diagram of the build lol. I know what I wanna try with my same exact kayak lol. Thank you for sharing this.
Find my other video on how I built it. It also uses a weedeater to power it . I have 3-4 videos on this. Good luck and thanks for watching, please subscribe so you don't miss upcoming videos.
Two upright pipes for stability. If your weight gets off center, you are "headed for a fall". You can see how easy it is to move the platform side to side at 13:30, if you are on it, your feet can go one way and your head another way, liken to jumping on a pogo stick on black ice.
Your so right, was a bit side to side. I'll be fixing it with upright poles on each side of the footstand to guide it. Trial & error. Thanks for the comment and for watching. Hope you subscribed so you don't miss my other madness coming up.
Thanks for viewing and commenting. That was the trial and error phase and is getting a guide pole on each side of footstand to stabilize it. Hope you subscribed so you don't miss the upcoming madness of mine. thanks again.
Also i believe 1/2 conduit will fit uder rim of the opening around the cockpit of The kayaks. I have my own designs I eventually want to try but what the heck i don't have the time. The rim of the cockpit on the kayak is the strongest part and both the front tip and back pit of The kayaks are the strongest. Hope this gives you some good options, if you are interested I can send some drawings to help out. Maybe im sticking my nose in where it's not needed you're doing fine I appreciate your video
Thanks for viewing and commenting. Did you watch the intire video? The wheels do have bearings, I said the polyurethane is costly and the reason for using wood is it is pretty tough and I had a pile of scrap from a different project. I hope you have time to watch my other videos to see I'm very much a recycler. thanks again for your comment and hope you subscribed so you don't miss the unique projects to come. Dale.
Yeh, it's made for slow speeds. I wouldn't ride it much over 10 mph. Thanks for watching and hope you subscribed so you don't miss the next unique project.
I'm new to this ,but, the track you see is ran on with rail speeder clubs that you can join and run with a group, or be sure (NO) trains run on them. Check with cubs in your area and they could tell you more. Thanks for watching and hope you hit that subscribe button so you don't miss the next 3- different style of speeders. Thanks again 😊
Thanks for the comment , agreed , I was bored in school always being 5-steeps ahead of the teacher hope you subscribed so not to miss up coming videos, I have some 1-offs coming soon. Again, thanks for watching and share this video. 😀
Thanks for the comment , hope you subscribed so you don't miss these up coming wild creations. Oh, share and like this so we can keep bringing you more. Thanks again for interest.
Thanks for the info,They are, lathe turned at 3 degrees .will do more test and determine if they need more. Thanks for watching and if you liked this video hit that subscribe so you don't miss the next 3 different railroad speeders.
Thanks for watching, and hope you subscribed so you don't miss the 3 completely differnt speeders , electric, air, and gas powered! Share if you liked it hit those buttons. Thanks again, Dale.
Seems like the back wheels are quite precarious because nothing holds them on, might want to add a bar that connects the rear triangle of the bikes but I understand that would complicate the side to side adjustment process and potentially have problems when turning. Great video keep working on the bike!
Thanks so much for your comment. I thought to put a contacting bar and after testing it, your right, may track better. Thanks for watching and I hope you subscribed so you don't miss the up coming (electric air rail ) and other surprises.
I think you could benefit a lot from using a higher quality camera, and proper video titles so you can reach a bigger audience, otherwise keep up the good work. Your videos are awesome.
Thank you so much, I really need feedback. Just starting out with no idea what to use and not too happy with how some editing came out. Transferring media through multi devices seems to be the coalprut. Thanks for watching.
I'm glad to know there's more people that think outside the box. Thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe & share so you don't miss a one of my wild ideas.
WOW Dale, you used my old radiator fan blade off a wrecked log truck. My wife wanted me to use it for a yard art sun flower. This is way cooler! Let's see how she goes on the rails...
I have to gear it a bit faster, it's turning about 760 rpm .I need to find out max rpm on the fan and gear it to that . it did ok on the kayaks, water has less friction obviously.
I agree, we both have one now. Thanks for your interest and for watching. New to this whole you tube thing only 5 months now. We'll iron it eventually.
I am thinking about the cooling. Also the smallest outboard engines are cooled down by water, here you heat up quite quickly I think, the Stihl grass cutters are not designed to run long time.
Thanks for viewing , the weedeater is a 110cc pro and is made to run all day, they're a 2-stroke with a "fan" cooling system that keeps it cool. Thanks for your concern.
Thanks for viewing, my favorite series was " Junkyard Wars " a pile of scrap is like a candy store to me LOL. Subscribe, like and share, for I have more in the making. Thanks again, Dale.
Yes, I'll be doing more to this, I have a wild paint job planned and rear tire thing?. I'm only one guy and no shop to work in so weather always predicts how much I get done. thanks for watching.
