Hi, My name is Bridget. Here on my channel you will find me creating, exploring and learning about different projects in different mediums. From textiles to paper, I love it all! I live in the beautiful Green Mountains of Vermont. You may also see glimpses of Vermont’s natural beauty. Thank you for stopping by. :)) To get in touch please email reignvermont@gmail.com
I would have sewn the button on before the lining to keep the lining from puckering like that. I've made little scrappy bags and wristlets like this before and people really love them.
It is quite a lovely (thread crochet) necklace, and the little baskets are very handy. As an experienced crocheter but only a sewing dabbler I'd first see those long skinny straps as suitable for crochet! 😏Tied together, or perhaps sewn with a zig-zag stitch into a tape that would be a really fun, premium crochet supply. I also think I have * ideas * for organza with crochet projects.
Hi… I show how I made paper beads that I use as buttons here. Fabric Bead Charms, Colorful Textile Jewelry Art, Fabric and Paper Charms, Fun Jewelry Art Part 1 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-prKQvSy_71w.html I am planning on revising this idea and making more buttons in a coming video. Please stay tuned. I hope this helps. Thanks 💕
Hi…. Here is a link to the Cricut Maker I found. amzn.to/4cV8XDb. I am not sure they make my model I am using anymore. Mine is about 5 years old. Here is a link to the iron amzn.to/4gesjWR Over all I am very pleased with Cricut Products. I hope this helps 💕 Thanks!
Hi. Love the project…. just wondering though, the subtitles use the term thermal lam when you mention the materials you’re using. But I don’t know of that. I think the subtitles must be incorrect. What is the adhesive material? (Maybe like Bondaweb?)Thank you.🙂
Hi … I purchased this wire on amazon. I can’t seem to paste the link bit here is the description Decora 22 Gauge White Floral Wire 16 inch,50/Package Thank you 💕
Hi Bridget! I'm super excited to try making my own little baskets!! Thanks for sharing your technique!! ❤ Your Liberty basket turned out so beautifully.
I’m so excited!!! You should see how cute my little basket turned out following your instructions in this video! I used different shades of purple fabric strip scraps and straight stitched them all down. Then I decided to couch a variegated thin decorative yarn all over the outside piece, sort of geometric boxy design like you would in a quilt design. I used the same fusible fleece as you used for the front. for the Lining I used Pellon 808 that I have in my stash. I don’t have an industrial type sewing machine, so I used the reinforced straight stitch on my Viking and it went very smoothly over the thick areas. Love how it turned out, I think I need to make about 5 or 6 more! They will all be different. Thank you so much for showing me how to make the collapsible style bag!
Hi… This sounds gorgeous… and so fun. I feel the same way. I want to make a bunch of these. They would be great in my bathroom too for organizing. Thank you so much for sharing your project. 🙏♥️🙏
What a great little project!! Love these fabric baskets fold up and stack nicely! Thank you for sharing your fun crafting again! I’ve been making scrappy squares with no specific projects in mind. This great little project is perfect for them and would fit in my empty Longerberger basket to keep all my hand stitching threads and tools sorted. So easy to carry from place to place.
I love listening to your ramblings. You hear and learn useful knowledge. Love the little baskets. They are nicer and much prettier than any other type of basket. Can’t wait for the next project. Thank you for sharing. And keep rambling away.
Just found you... love what I see! Im excited for the wrist wallet! I was about to buy one, but Id rather follow along with you... thanks for your hard but fun work!

I am so glad I found your channel. I finished a bag today with the outside pocket, just like this, from another channel. It took me two days and a lot of frustration. I'm getting rid of those instructions and only doing yours from now on. Thank you so much. I might even make a front panel like your clawfoot bathtub wall art post, LOL.
I draw my pattern with a fine tip marker or reg tip permanent black marker after I like what I've drawn and tape it to the back side of an applique sheet so I can see it easier. Steam a seam vs the applique dbl sides paper is the steam a seam will temp stick to any surface and no ironing needed so it's able to be shifted around until hear is applied. Once everything in a section is complete it the whole project, then apply heat to adhere everything together. The parts are then removed from the applique sheet and placed onto fabric, (and still able to move around), until placement is perfect (with steam a seam). Hope this makes sense? I use a cotton ball with alcohol, it's cheaper, to remove glue from my sewing needle if it gums up. It will stick the cotton ball fibers to anyplace still sticky I can know to do it again. If no sticky, no fibers left behind. If the ironing sets the glue properly, minimal residue is left too gunk up your needle., just don't iron too long or the glue will no longer work. It's a balancing act, lol. I sometimes use small strips of black fabric, bias if rounded edges), to give a stained glass look and that allows all edges to be glued together so it doesn't come apart and add a ton of details. Awesome video, and much appreciated... Babs near Tombstone AZ
