I have a theory too, so I'll say my theory statement first, respond to your thoughts, then explain my theory: - BOTW/TOTK take place in the Adult Timeline, where the Shadow Invasion was successful, but unsuccessfully didn't fully breach the Kingdom. Instead, they successfully convinced the Kingdom to resurrect the first Ganondorf by finding the Sealed Grounds he was located at, convincing the Kingdom to build a castle there, build technology to harness the magic of the Zonai's 'healing' energy in order to weaken the seal, and utilize this as a way to convince the Kingdom that 'a calamity happened', while modeling machines after the sages that defeated them, and creating machines that could outnumber the Hyrulean's. The king banished the Sheikah and ordered these away before they could be used to take over the Kingdom. When Zelda in BOTW brought them all back, they quickly were in control by Ganondorf, not because "Zelda is weak", but because their intention behind creation was to, in fact, be controlled by the Sheikah beast in order to overthrow the Kingdom. A quick side note: In TOTK, we learned that the Tapestry wasn't accurate to the description present. We believed the Hero was Link, that was not Link. The tapestry has a stylized Dragon, not "Ganon" in any form in BOTW, or any other Zelda entry. Who is to say that is even Zelda? This implies that the Sheikah were the banished race of the Twili, and that the Shadow invasion occurred in the Adult Timeline. And the biggest proof of this: Zant's Helmet location in Breath of The Wild is in Tobio's Hollow, to which Ganondorf (From Ocarina of Time,) in Wind Waker, was the 'great evil that all thought had been forever sealed away by the hero once again crept forth from the depths of the earth".' To which they utilized this passage way after Wind Waker to breach the Surface. Yes, this implies that the Depths were the Twilight Realm (As if the swirl plants, and music, and the artifacts didn't give this away), it implies that the "Sky" is the Sacred Realm (Because, you know, it was in all of Zelda besides one entry), and it implies that Skyward Sword wasn't factual -- and potentially, had many inaccuracies within it. One could argue that the concept of "Hylia" was actually the "time traveling Zelda' seen from TOTK. 1) The Sheikah Technology is gone due to the reason it was gone, originally, before Breath of The Wild -- It was used, or attempted to be used, for nefarious reasons against the Kingdom of Hyrule. Although some were left, I think this was entirely intentional, not due to the idea that "the devs didn't want to confuse people", but they wanted to, intentionally, hint at things. Like the Shrine of Resurrection; They wanted to symbolically make sure you realize that this is right "above" the 'Secret Spring of Revival'. Sort of a direct "Lore Hint" that the Sheikah were, in fact, connected to the Depths. (not the Zonai, who were obviously connected to the sky) 2) The Light Dragon isn't in the Sky of Breath of the Wild (or any other Zelda entry) due to remaining in the Sacred Realm until after the barrier is broken. Although we can insinuate "this doesn't make sense" still, due to A Link To The Past's "Dark World", but let's assume Ganondorf obtained the full triforce and transformed the Sacred Realm into the Dark World, we could have also destroyed the Light Dragon in the same breath. (Plot hole cancels out other plot hole lol) 3) Malice and Gloom aren't just different, but they're intentionally named different. "Malice" was the symbolic nature of 'hatred', while Gloom is symbolic for darkness (miasma as actually poison in darkness, but healed by light). The important part is that the Sheikah coined the term 'malice' for the substance, to amplify the tapestry, while Ganondorf directly labeled this as "miasma"/Gloom. 4) 1:34 thankfully the clicking stopped. As far as the 'pillars' (and other things), these are easily explained by being dismantled or retracted back into the surface. Shrines, for example, would have retracted back into the surface or entirely were dismantled, etc. I don't think you noticed but the hole is still there, it's just melted a little.

2:02 - There technically are. In fact, Skyward Sword has this same indirect problem, except that game contradicts the creation of the Master Sword stated in A Link To The Past, Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker & Twilight Princess (lol). In Tears of the kingdom, the "sword" is attached to the Light Dragon, to which Zelda would only let it go if 'her' Link obtained it. This Master Sword (Zelda's) was bathed in the Sacred Light of the Triforce, while the normal Master Sword was imbued with magic from the 7 Sages in the time period just before Ocarina of Time. (Where the Sword became the key to enter into the Sacred Realm). We're ignoring the 'game mechanics' of OoT here though, primarily because I don't think they thought about the implication when they created that...seeing as how the 'time travel' mechanic was suppose to be far more interwoven than what we got in the story. 2:15 - In the Sealed Sacred Realm. Newbies to the game will say 'above the cloud barrier', but that's just... not a thing lol. In the Realm hidden beyond the sky, separated by magic and golden in color. 14:25 - Okay so after 12 minutes of trying my hardest to follow, your gist is: "There's at least 8 stones, there's got to be more", and the insinuation is that 'demise is actually a gerudo with a secret stone'. I agree, in fact, I'd argue -- Skyward Sword was inaccurate and the 'tellall' story was actually the story we learn of the Past in Tears of The Kingdom. "The one of Demise" is actually Ganondorf in Tears of The Kingdom, if you will. One thing I will quickly point out is that the Secret stone "amplifies the power of the individual", while let's ignore that Zelda and Link both had "time" magic, but Zelda also has "light" magic (Which is why she turned into the 'light' dragon). Time magic may just be symbolic of the Hyrulean (rather than of an ambiguous unknown deity stated to be 'hylia'). 14:35 - The director of Skyward Sword unironically stated that "there can be more than one Kingdom" when asked if Skyward Sword was the first kingdom or was it Tears of the Kingdom. Not implying that "Tears of the Kingdom was a new kingdom", but insinuating that skyward sword was an entirely different kingdom, potentially a story, rather than part of the timeline of events. 14:43 - Yes, but that's because 'before' Skyward Sword, there was a Kingdom ambiguous in a name, that had multiple tribes, before it was ravished by a 'demon tribe' (which was what the Gerudo were always called in Japanese), to which the only solution was to "send hyrule to the sky" (skyrule!). 15:35 - Yeah, so about that. Consider "skyward sword was inaccurate" and you'll quickly get the whole "oh, so what was the real story", and the answer will be 'tears of the kingdoms past'. Which would depict that, of course there was civilization before this -- And the "zonai" were the three Goddesses race. 16:16 - I never read far into that. I viewed that concept as "creative director had wild ideas and thought it would make sense, it didn't". 16:50 - Because she doesn't actually exist. 17:17 - Yes, well, because she doesn't exist lol. If she didn't exist from 1991 - 2010, and magically "exists" in one entry, which is only backed up by two entries that exist "so far in the future all is forgotten", where the 'past' events feature zero acknowledgement of a "hylia", the answer is "she was made up for nefarious reasons". My argument/theory is that she was made up to justify Zelda's time travel, and inferring to that, the Sheikah of the 'wild' era (post Wind Waker era) utilized this to obtain power, telling a story they created in order to control via fear. Sort of like how Religion typically is used in the real world. 17:49 - Eh. If we talk about 'just' skyward sword, then Demise was not actually sealed. He was "held back" by Hylia to somehow incarnate as a Hylian to use the Triforce to 'destroy' him, because apparently he cannot be destroyed without the triforce (lol), and such that, Demise was defeated by the Triforce in the 'present', and in the past, was 'defeated' by the very mortal non-magical hero Link (but not by a Goddess, apparently). To be entirely fair: The concept was obviously to make the villain as an "evil ambiguous villain" and the hero as an "ambiguous hero", and the princess as "ambiguous" such that the other entries created by Fujibayashi were considered canon. That way, "the curse of the evil and the hero and princess" can be carried over, indirectly, to these other entries that have zero relevance to the mainline entries. And even then, 'sealed into the master sword' is a cop out; One that entirely is overwritten when you realize that the Master Sword was a sword meant to combat the powers of the Triforce by exorcizing darkness/evil (aka, destroying it). Not by 'sealing' it. They even rewrote the English translation to accommodate 'sealing' in order to justify the entire plot loophole created in that game (lol). The "blade of evils bane", and the "sword that exorcizes evil/darkness". It doesn't seal it. (only in skyward sword does it do this lol)

19:08 - That's the catch. No one, but the Sheikah (and the era of the Sheikah), references Hylia, the "ancient hero", or any sort of structured concept of the tapestry this occurs in. Popular culture of the modern Hyrulean Kingdom know of the Ancient Hero. "It being the prize" is more of a notation from the developer as a "piece it together" hint, much like all the other ones. 19:26 - This is explained via TOTK's Past. Insinuate that "demise" was always Ganondorf of the past in TOTK (and no one else), then it sort of fixes itself. 19:43 - In your example, there's 6 stones so far. In my explanation (essentially overwriting skyward sword), there is no more stones than there would typically be, which is 8. I would argue that the 'stones' aren't dictate at a set number, and it's only assumed that there's an equal number of secret stones, as there is sages (right?) 23:35 - This is where you lost me a bit. The Temple of Time in Ocarina of Time (by Rauru) was connected to the castle that we see directly in Breath of The Wild/Tears of the Kingdom on the Great Plateau. This "Temple of Time" is the same one from Ocarina of Time, missing the entire backroom and alter where the three Sacred Stones would sit. This alter was removed and relocated to the Lost Woods. (unexplained, however this was the resting place for the sword in the parallel time period later, such that as A Link To The Past). That's original from the 1990's game. The 'revision' existed post Skyward Sword, where they had to explain the entirely new Temple of Time that wouldn't fit, conically, into this universe. The Hysteria implies, like a redditor, that 'perhaps' Rauru built this temple over-top of the original existing one once returning back to the surface. But that would contradict what we knew from Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker & Twilight Princess. We should also talk about how in Skyward Sword, the Sealed Temple has the Sage Medallions on the ceiling. Yet, if we assume that the "sealed temple" is, in fact, the 'forgotten temple', then we should insinuate that this cataclysmic event was why the Forgotten Temple is on the ground. Which leads is promptly to: The "sealed temple", otherwise known as the Forgotten Temple, is the Temple of Light. Digression aside, the problem with the Hyrule Historia translation is the depiction. Rauru from Ocarina of Time built the Temple of Time exactly where it stood in BOTW, which leads us promptly to: It was built overtop what would have been the Temple of Time. Consider the following for a moment: Zelda "traveling back in time" could only occur in a singular timeline. It couldn't happen in the Fallen Hero timeline, as we see that there is not a Light dragon. At this time, we're unaware if it would happen in the child timeline. If my assumption is correct, it would have happened in the Adult timeline, thus the "loop" of Zelda going "back in time" now occurs. It's, essentially, Schrodinger's Dragon. We see the Light Dragon in TOTK due to the Sacred Realm being breached and visible, with chasms that lead between all three realms. 23:43 - That's because the 'skyloft' one was entirely inaccurate (is what they're going to explain, I could put a large bet on that). 24:48 - In Tears of the Kingdom's "altered" timeline, "demise" was Ganondorf. In fact, in Skyward Sword they called Demise the Demon King, to which is what is stated they only knew Ganondorf by. 25:05 - Because the "skyward sword" was created by the Sheikah, not the Hylian's. 25:41 - First, the Historia explained this by stating the "Goddess Sword" Master Sword was the 'true master sword', and the other Master Swords (created by the sages) were not the True Master Sword. That the "true" master sword only exists in Skyward Sword. That's directly because we already had lore for the Master Sword, as we did for the Triforce, as we did for Ganondorf. All Skyward Sword did was 'overwrite' the lore. In order to 'justify the existence of' Skyward Sword's lore, they did the following: - The "True Master Sword" started off as the Skyward Sword - The "True" reason why Ganondorf exists is due to the Curse of Demise, whch is why all evil exists in a cycle of ambiguous good vs ambiguous evil, defined blood of Hylia (an ambigoous new goddess, the goddess of all other goddesses), a spirit of a hero, and the curse of the demon. Effectively, the BOTW/TOTK "White Sword of the Sky" attached to a quest, to which you must re-unite Goddess Statues who can communicate to the Bargainer Statues of the depths together by providing them Sacrificial Items from the Deity Dragon's, are clearly nefarious within intent. The point I'm getting at: These are not "goddess" statues, but beings who aren't even related to the Goddesses, who gossip and communicate with each other with enough magic. They're nothing more than the Gossip Stones in Ocarina of Time. With the caveat being that the one at the Temple of Time was put there to communicate to the Bargainer Statue, well after the events of Ocarina of Time & Wind Waker, around the time the Master Swords location, and the plaque for the Door of Time, was removed.

26:45 - The only problem here is an insinuation that Tears of the Kingdom is an entirely different universe. People with minimal knowledge of this will say something like "it's a closed loop" without acknowledging what a 'closed loop' is. This isn't a closed loop, it's Causality, and it's called a causality Nexus. Zelda's events would only occur in an era where Zelda is capable of traveling back in time. Thus: - Adult Timeline = Zelda Traveling back in time - Child Timeline = Unknown, but unlikely - Fallen Hero Timeline = Zelda wouldn't travel back in time We already know that BOTW & TOTK take place directly after each other. If TOTK created a paradox, the events of BOTW wouldn't have happened, thus there wouldn't be a "calamity". It's a case of Schrodinger's Cat at this point, and since we do not see the Dragon, due to it being locked in the Sacred Realm, we aren't aware of it until it's unlocked. 27:55 - Let's break this down a bit. Ganondorf in TOTK = The "first" Ganondorf, known as "Demise" in the actual canonical lore. "Dennis" would be Ganondorf, the 2nd, born as the Surrogate Children of Twin Rova. 30:39 - Triforce. Well, we know that the Triforce is in the Royal Families position. We not only know this from Wind Waker (lol), but also from Breath of the Wild & Tears of the Kingdom -- Where it's on the back of Zelda's hand in both. Zelda "has" the Triforce, which is why she was able to transform into the Light Dragon (not a time dragon). It's also why she was able to bathe the sword in sacred light -- she possessed the Triforce. 31:02 - Your insinuation is the following: Timeline 1: Zelda does not go back in time - Tears of the Kingdom Timeline 2: Zelda Goes back in time - Every other Zelda game in order The major problem with that is that it ignores relativity, and it ignores how time travel works, something the Zelda series never actually does (besides skyward sword, which just created 8 timelines and they only resolve 3 of them internal to the game, then ignore that the rest happen). It's probably why Fujibayashi hasn't directly created the story of another Zelda game. 32:03 - The official interviews stated 'they disappeared after the calamity', insinuating that everyone saw this, and it was an unexplained mystery. The answer elaborates insinuating that the removal of Calamity Ganon also meant the removal of the devices and Sheikah technology that, otherwise, was meant to defeat the calamity. This doesn't just make sense, it actually pays credence to the whole "The Sheikah created Calamity Ganon in order to obtain control over the Kingdom." theory. 36:28 - The Shrine of Resurrection would have also disappeared due to the intention behind it being fulfilled. I'd imagine the contingency behind keeping the Sheikah in power was to not defeat the Calamity, and if someone was to defeat it, then it would expose that the Sheikah were the ones who created the Calamity (being that it was comprised of Sheikah technology). Consider if you were to try and take over a Kingdom, so you devise an entire plan to do it, and if you fail it could lead directly back to you -- Where would you hide your evidence? You'd make sure it erases itself lol. I'd argue this is the intention behind their whole 'it's a mystery' premise. 38:33 - The hole is still, of course, there. It's just melted some on the lower end, but it's 100% still there. 40:59 - I can't explain directly why the little rooms the shrines are in, aren't there, but I can say the shrines probably disappeared like the rest. A simple contingency plan, as above. 41:06 - Shrines of Light are definitive shrines connected to "Light Roots" in the depths that purify evil in the region it exists within (from the surface to the depths). If I had to guess where the Sheikah shrines went, it's as simple as above. As far as 'technology'; Ones 'magic' (shrine of light), the other is machinery (sheikah). 42:04 - Sort of? It's something people "borrow" from skyward sword, and don't realize that they've done this in A Link To The Past, Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker, and even Twilight Princess -- They're just realms, or different planes of existence connected by magic. In this instance, they are "separated" by magic. The Twilight Realm is separated by a barrier of Earth, and the Sacred Realm is separated by an invisible field above the sky. 43:12 - Consider that the "Breach of Demise" is also located next to the current structure that is Hyrule Castle, when we have direct evidence from BOTW (and TOTK) that the Ocarina of Time castle stook on the Great Plateau, and then in TOTK we have direct evidence that the Kingdom existed on the Great Plateau far before being shifted over to the Central field. Now think about the name for a moment. If it was the "breach" of Demise, then it would have had to have been located near the Great Plateau, not near Central Hyrule. Thus, the "Breach of Demise" was symbolic more of the story that the author of that wanted to tell (in universe, that is), rather than actual location. Thus, the "Beach of Demise", as in the location, simply is a location named because it helped aid a story and narrative to gain control of the Kingdom of Hyrule. Much like how the "Castle was built there to protect the seal", while the Purification Unit was built during the Castle Creation, it symbolizes that the Sheikah (particularly the Ancient Sheikah in BOTW) were relevant or creating technology at this time. In addition, they would have built the structures that 'protect the castle' around the time the castle was built, symbolizing that they were intentionally trying to weaken the seal put on by Rauru, not protect it.

Bringing your attention to master works, where Gerudo have males still, TOTK's past happens before even Skyward Sword (ganondorf was, in fact, 'demise'), and how it takes place on the adult timeline. How the sky was inspired by the sacred realm, and, the depths...yeah. Anyway, skyward sword fanboys are about to be like "the timeline is stupid anyway" lol.

The Sheikah tech was dismantle and reused because they feared that the Calamity would posses it it again. The hole in Hebra is still there in Totk, Zonai architecture has just fallen into it. The Light dragon is in Botw but we can´t she it because it is above the cloud barrier in Botw. The is just one Master sword, it just happen to be at two places because of time travel, the Master sword Link sends back is with Zelda until Link gets it back. Zelda´s time travel in Totk is a closed loop, she always goes back there is never a time she didn´t go back in time, this is confirmed by Ganondorf in the opening scene where he recognize Zelda. The Gerudo 100% got a secret stone, not all Gerudo was on Ganondorf´s side, if you watched the memories you would know this. The a male Gerudo every 100 years isn´t literal, it is that male Gerudo is very rare and most likely can´t be born before the previous is dead. Link never gets a secret stone ever. No-one became Demise, Demise was always there from the start until Link defeated him. Hyrule is only founded after Skyloft has returned to the surface from the sky this is 100% fact. The Zonai only came down to Hyrule after all the games except Botw and Totk. Robots has been in all but one game which is Aol. The most technology advance game is Totk not SS. The Ancient hero is after Rauru not before. The sage medallions aren´t the secret stones. Ganondorf isn´t the reincarnation of Demise, he is the incarnation of Demise´s hatred. Totk past is more than 10,000 years before Botw, it is at least 30,000 years before Botw because the people had figured out a patterned to the Calamity Ganon´s appearance. There where no Zonai temple of time before Oot Rauru built his, the Zonai temple of time was built much later. The Goddess sword that you call the Skyward sword is a replica in Botw/Totk this is evident because the sword is in it Goddess White Sword form which isn´t it´s original from. The Master sword is the same sword in the entire series, the difference between the games is because of art style. Urbosa says that the Calamity once to the form of a Gerudo. The full Tri-force is in Zelda in Botw/Totk. Totk Ganondorf don´t know of the Tri-force at all. Zelda didn´t seal Ganondorf so that the events would play out exactly how they until Zelda and Link went down under Hyrule Castle. There is the healing water in the cave that the shrine of resurrections which is sign that it was there before it was dismantled. There is a guardian on top of Hateno lab which proves also not a altered timeline. The orbs in Botw and Totk isn´t the same. Demise never needed a secret stone to be what he was. Totk time travel doesn't operate on Back to the future time travel. The lore does match if you don´t incorrectly assume certain things.

The "Find Princess Zelda" quest, where he receives his own Secret Stone, which is (yes) Recall. I'll probably reply to the rest in a bit. As far as the hole in Hebra, it still exists.

"The Sheikah tech was dismantle and reused because they feared that the Calamity would posses it it again." - Yes, and no. I'd argue this is correct to explain-away, but in practicality, it was explained that some of the basic technology (the pillars, the shrines, the towers, the shrine of resurrection) simply disappeared after Calamity Ganon & Dark Beast Ganon had been destroyed. The simplest answer for this is "contingency plan", the crazy answer is insinuating that it was 'magic'. The 'contingency plan' idea relies on the fact that the Calamity was not suppose to be destroyed, it existed to provide power, and thus importance, to the Sheikah and to provide them rule underneath the Kingdom. As we learn from Breath of the Wild, the Kingdom feared their technology would be used as such (because there was no threat of a calamity, there was only a threat of them), so the King banished them. This is what created the Yiga & Sheikah divisions. Divisions, may we add, we see in zero other Zelda entries. "The hole in Hebra is still there in Totk, Zonai architecture has just fallen into it." - Yes and no again. It's clearly still there, it melted some, and Zonai technology did fall into it. "The Light dragon is in Botw but we can´t she it because it is above the cloud barrier in Botw." - Yes, and no (again). There isn't a "cloud barrier", there is a realm. The realm (the sacred realm) is invisible, and once the cataclysm happened, the three realms merged together -- Which is why we have chasms and can see sky islands. The Sacred Realm (the sky), Hyrule (surface), and the Twilight (depths). Yes, the depths are the Twilight Realm, it's not just the same music -- it's the same signature swirls. "The is just one Master sword, it just happen to be at two places because of time travel, the Master sword Link sends back is with Zelda until Link gets it back." Eh, well, depends. In this entry, there is two but definitively one accessible, with one inaccessible. This sin't the first time they did this. In Skyward Sword, there was 3 master swords. "What, 3, wtf?" There is three timelines happening at once (actually there's 8, but we're going to go with 3 for the sake of what everyone knows) - Current, Past, Present. In the "current' timeline, the Master Sword does not exist (start of the game), it's the Goddess Sword. In the Past, the hero places the Master Sword in the pedestal (and of the game), in the future, Link turns the Goddess Sword into the Master Sword. Needless to say, all of it is redundant because they labeled each of these as "the only true master sword", which no one has besides Skyward Sword. Welcome to why I personally dislike this game. In Tears of the Kingdom, the sword Link sends back in time exists in possession of the Light Dragon, who will remain untouched until the events of TOTK. With Time Travel rules in practice; There is only one concrete timeline where this event can occur, and will occur, and the moment each of the other two splits occur -- the Light Dragon no longer will exist. Schrodinger's Dragon, if you will. (Causality) "Zelda´s time travel in Totk is a closed loop, she always goes back there is never a time she didn´t go back in time, this is confirmed by Ganondorf in the opening scene where he recognize Zelda." Incorrect. Zelda's Time Travel is a Causality. In order for her time travel to "occur", she has to exist in the exact state, with the exact situation occurring for that to accurately occur. - Adult Timeline (where BOTW/TOTK most likely exist) - Zelda would have met Ganondorf the First, grab the Secret Stone, and travel back in time. - Child Timeline - The events above would not occur, thus Zelda's altered history wouldn't be in affect for the future events to occur. The Sacred Realm remains sealed and untouched, thus the Light Dragon remains hidden. Schrodinger's Cat. - Fallen Timeline - The events above would not occur, thus Zelda's altered history wouldn't be in affect for the future events to occur. The Sacred Realm is morphed into a parallel world, known as the Dark World, and The Light Dragon would no longer exist.

Yeah, there are so many plot holes in TotK. Much of the new lore doesn't really make sense. And the fact that the normal Sheikah Towers are gone or even completely changed, doesn't make sense either. The fact that locations & even some people are different or even missing from BotW. And the fact that instead of building upon the lore of BotW, they pulled new lore out of their butts. Just confuses the timeline and the overall lore even more... If only they told us WHEN the Kingdom of Rauru existed. We know that Skyward Sword's Link & Zelda build the Kingdom of Hyrule a 1000 years after Demise's demise when the Temple of Time/Hylia came back down upon surface. But is the Kingdom of Sonia & Ruaru AFTER, or BEFORE that Kingdom. We know that Hylia was still a goddess and alive when Skyloft was raised and that Ganondorf could not have existed before the raising of Skyloft. So the theory of Sonia & Rauru's kingdom being the one "before" Skyloft's ascension would be incorrect. So it has to be after the Kingdom of Hyrule that was created by Link & Zelda. That would mean that in one of the timelines Hyrule must have been destroyed and and rebuild by Sonia & Rauru into their Kingdom of Hyrule. But when in the timelines would that be? The only logical place would be between Phantom Hourglass & Spirit Tracks. Which would make Sonia a descendant of Tetra Hero of Winds Link. But Rauru & his family would be a mystery to place. Unless the Zonai lived upon the new continent where the new kingdom of Hyrule would be created. And Rauru would have fallen for her and because Sonia was leader of the Hylian tribes & Rauru had his kingdom itself, they would merge the 2 together and make the Kingdom of Hyrule. Then comes Spirit tracks, due to Zonai technology creating trains. And then many generations later, the first Calamity Gonan event happens (with a Zonai Link). And then dozens of thousands of years later the events of the 100 years before BotW happened happens. And after that the events of BotW. But the events of TotK just doesn't really fit for the rest... Aside from the dungeon and Ganondorf's imprisonment. But everything after Link wakes up upon the Sky Islands. Should not have been able to happen...

The kingdom of Hyrule wasn´t founded by SS Zelda it was her descendants who did. The logical place to place Rauru´s Hyrule is after all games except Botw.
@itsJoshW

@@Ahouro The Kingdom of Hyrule wasn't founded by her, or her descendants. That's fan speculation (or as people on reddit say, 'headcanon') that was created by fans, for fans, and insinuated to be factual because it's on a fan wikipedia and in fan books. It's not actually correct. It's just fans speculating like fans do, and instead of actually saying "well no one knows", they say "its fact". Additionally, the "logical" place is TOTK's Past is before all Zelda games, and TOTK is after the Adult Timeline Zelda games. We can tell this from the state of, well honestly numerous bits of lore that people ignore or 'change' because (again) fans dislike anything that isn't their bias. - Sacred Realm is partially damaged but intact as the realm above the sky, golden in color (ALTTP/OOT). - Twilight Realm is still a void of darkness, an evil realm, but this time without traces of an advanced civilization living within it, instead showcasing parts of the prison that was for mining. - Sheikah somehow "exist" in full force (lol). - Zant's Helmet is the reward for Tobio's Hollow This can go on forever. But the simplest and most logical place for where BOTW/TOTK exist is in the adult timeline. As far as "but wat about skyward sword" for the response, the answer is as easy as: What about every Zelda games lore before Skyward Sword? Should we erase the lore from Wind Waker, Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess, A Link To The Past -- Just because Skyward Sword exists? Probably not. And Nintendo will, very likely, have an accurate answer for that in 15 days.

@@itsJoshW Hyrule Historia isn´t a fan book. Placing Totk past before the other games is illogical because, Totk Ganondorf is a reincarnation of Oot Ganondorf which is an incarnation of Demise´s hatred, the Rito, and Zora. New games can recontextualize the old lore but not erase.
@itsJoshW
@itsJoshW Месяц назад
@@Ahouro "New games can recontextualize the old lore but not erase." See, right there. That's contradictory. Skyward Sword erased lore and replaced it with it's own lore. Hyrule Historia isn't a fan book, correct, but it is one book to "explain" something that, otherwise, didn't need explained (because it introduced non-canon games into the canon timeline). Otherwise, the timeline was as follows: Ocarina of Time: - Wind Waker - Twilight Princess - A Link To The Past, The Legend of Zelda, The Legend of Zelda II Everything else was never meant to be canon into the timeline, it was added "with" Hyrule Historia, including Skyward Sword, which rewrote: - The master sword Original: The story of the master sword (originally created to counter the powers of the triforce, as the interloper war enforced the idea of creating a weapon to counter the powers of the triforce. A sword created by the Hylian's, imbued with magic by the sages, which can be wielded by a hero to 'exorcise' darkness/evil. Rewrite: A sword provided to the hero from the singular Goddess, Hylia (The Goddess Sword) to which Link must get blessed by the servants of Hylia (the singular Goddess) in order to revitalize and transform it into the Master Sword - The Sacred Realm Original: A realm over the plane of Hyrule, Golden in color and land to which the Triforce laid after the God's left the Earth. The Goddesses kept the Triforce in this location, to which the Hylian's, the keepers of the Triforce, built a Temple, coined the Temple of Light, to house the Triforce. The Door of time was the only way to access this realm after the Interloper war Rewrite: A realm of silence, hidden internal to Skyloft..yeah I don't feel like going over this, it's not a good rewrite Ther'es quite a bit more, including the Goddesses (literally rewrote the intention of Din, Nayru & Farore, and made them 'servents' to Hylia, to which Hyrule Historia rewrote that and established them as 'the first goddesses that provided Hylia the triforce), despite almost all of it being entirely rewritten. Needless to say, the last part there takes the cake for rewrites. Original: Ganondorf: Demon Thief, leader of the Gerudo Tribe, a Tribe of Demon's who saught to obtain the Triforce due to the conditions their people had to face and the lack thereof power their people held, wanted to reshape the world to provide power to their people. Rewrite: Ganondorf: The last Geurdo male born, is the first incarnation of the hatred of demise, of a curse of the blood of a goddess and the spirit of the hero (lol). They, essentially, rewrote the 'story' in order to fit a few games into the timeline. When you say "new games can contextualize, old lore but not erase", you mean "new games can contextualize the lore added in the last mainline entry, but not rewrite it". To which, I say, BS, and it's obscure to even think that this is "because hyrule historia" when Hyrule Historia literally rewrote itself with the whole "new evidence" clause. That being said -- No, placing TOTK's Past before the other games isn't illogical. Not understanding what incarnation, and reincarnation is would be illogical and absurdly degrading of Japanese culture and mythology. The "incarnation of evil" isn't talked about in any Zelda entry besides Skyward Sword, and is only continuously spewed by Zelda 'theorists', not even by the developers or any other form of official media. An Incarnation, particularly in Japanese culture, is something born out of an idea or thought, typically within the premise of "knowledge" of the past. A re-incarnation (what is claimed to be Demise and the Curse), is someone reborn in a different period of time. There has been neither in the Zelda franchise, and only assumed to be, due to the poor translation of Skyward Sword and the fans running on this translation as if it's cemented. Hell, some literally make RU-vid videos making "fan translations" of the words, where they take the most obscure meaning of the original wording to define the game into the realm of "philosophy" -- Something found within Indian Buddhism, not Japanese Animism or even Christianity (the two founding mythos for the series, and animism more heavily leaned in toward the latter entries). Let's talk a bit about races. The most illogical discussion people can have is assuming that a timeline can breed a race of people. I get that Wind Waker had a singular dialog text that stated this "in english", but that doesn't really discredit anything, if anything Nintendo has double-downed on the "do not take races as concrete timeline placements" by insinuating A Link Between Worlds exists after A Link To The Past. A "fan book" is mythos created by Wikipedia or Tumblre artists who play Bible with something, like Hyrule Historia, and they "interpret" things out of context to fit the mythos that reaffirms a singular premise: "Everything is cemented, nothing is malleable" while Nintendo directly says 'Nothing really is cemented, and we have our own interpretation of what the timeline is, and it's changed over the years' (The point behind 'we want you to figure out where it is on the timeline'). To conclude this - It's entirely illogical to insinuate BOTW, or TOTK, are "so far forward in the future that this is an entire new land". For one, it entirely discredits the intention behind the game. Narratively, you do "large time skips" in order to disconnect the worlds and story/plots. In this instance, they are utilizing both Ganon & Ganondorf, and even directly insinuated (numerous times) that this was, in fact, on the timeline and was, in fact, in a specified timeline. It's "fan interpretations" that dictate things like "after everything" and "convergence" or "dragon break" (Common one because they lack creativity in crafting a theory based on evidence).

@@itsJoshW Skyward sword didn't erase lore. Hyrule Historia didn´t add non-canon games into canon. That the Master sword was forged to counter the Tri-force is a mistranslation in the English manual, it isn´t in the Japanese version and Link reforged the Goddess sword into the Master sword so it is still a recontextualization. The Sacred realm was never a realm over Hyrule it was where the Golden Goddesses left Hyrule from which was the ground not the sky, the realm of silence you mention isn´t the Sacred realm it is the Silent realm which is another realm altogether it is just recontextualization of the lore because the sacred realm is where the sealed grounds is in Skyward sword. The Golden Goddesses was never written as Hylia´s servants in Skyward sword, they still left Hyrule so it a recontextualization of the lore not rewriting like you think. The Gerudo was never a tribe of demons, they where a tribe of thieves, Ganondorf was their and he only ever thought about himself, he never thought to provided for his tribe and Skyward sword just explained his origin not erased any lore surrounding him. The things you thought was rewrites was just your poor understanding of the lore. It´s very illogical to place Totk past before Skyward sword because the Zora, the Rito and the Gerudo hadn´t evolved yet. Ganondorf is born from Demise´s hatred, but he don´t have knowledge of the past, Nothing in Demise´s speech mention reincarnation. If you think that incarnation and reincarnation never have been in the series then you have a very poor understanding of the series. It isn´t illogical to assume that a race can be born on one split but not another, if you think that is illogical then you must assume that everything happens the same in ever timeline split. That isn´t a fan book, just say that you hate timeline discussion and theories next time. It isn´t illogical to say that Botw/Totk is so far in the future when the developers have said it themselves and Botw/Totk is most likely a refounding of Hyrule not the old Hyrule.
