That old log cabin mentioned down being the graineary is the homestead house of Nils Thorsrud. He was one of the first homesteaders in Garcon Gulch, and he received his homestead through a drawing before the rest were released in a “land rush”. It originally sat across the coulee close to where the ranch driveway and mailboxes were.

I agree, that was a little too close for comfort for the seals. The close up of the base of the rock was nice. Looked like a calm day; you could easily land there in a sea kayak. I've heard of people doing it, of course when the seals are gone because they can get aggressive.
Nice shots of Tilly. That being said you flew WAY to close to the seals. It's agsinst the law to disturb them and you can be fined. I've flown a lot over Tilly and have several videos on herm MY latest ones are "Tilly" and "Tilly Revisit". You flying so close and uploading it might cause repercussions for the rest of us. If you want to fly close fly when the animals are not present. All my "close" animal shots are zoomed in from the original. That's why you don't see the seals run from the drone. Again nice footage A+, but a F- for getting too close. Don't ruin it for the rest of us. Be respectful! Thanks, Geist View
