Probably you have noticed in the video, however I repeat here for the record that what I said is, Sweden and Norway are often cited as an example of social democracies or a mixed economy rather than pure socialism. It's important to note that both the countries are not a socialist country in the sense of complete government ownership of the means of production, which is a key tenet of socialism. While the country does have a strong welfare state and high levels of social expenditure, it also has a robust capitalist economy with private businesses. This system is often referred to as a "Nordic model" or social democracy, and it seeks to combine the benefits of both capitalism and socialism, which make Sweden and Norway as socialist-like countries.

@@Shuviy ya i know what the Nordic model is but that's my point the Nordic model is not a good example for a socialist form of government, yes its socialist-like but still misses the core tenets by a long shot and i feel that conflating social democracy and socialism does the description a bit of a disservice. in the video you say 'however private ownership is still allowed in some sectors' before as if you where still talking about pure socialism then use the Nordic model as and example and only then classify them as social democracies, a less informed viewer would have a much harder time distinguishing but most importantly i feel you mistake the fundamental tenet of socialism, which is not 'complete government ownership of the means of production' (unless u take the definition of orthodox soviet communists in which case yes that's correct) but rather the abolition of private ownership of the means of production, this can mean ownership is gained by the state, workers or any cooperative or public organisation. this is what i mean when i say socialism is about anti-capitalism first and foremost, not about state control. so when you say things like 'however private ownership is still allowed in some sectors' then give the Nordic model as an example you're missing a fundamental part of what makes socialist ideology, even if the structure of these very capitalist economies have some characteristics gained from historically strong socialist movements
