I would like to say the Gripen NG is one of the best figther in this world. small, effective, cheap, high tech and robust but having good performance as multi role figther in this world. I do not know why my country is more preferer to buy SU 35. if Gripen NG is compared to SU 35 so I see Gripen NG having too much any abilities than SU 35. Beacuse for new modern air war, maneuverability is not only primary factor for getting the win. but more than it, Everything must be considered in all probably aspects that can be as factor to get the win in the sky.

Thank you! Don't mind the idiot above. Brazil bought a license and will produce it's own Gripens in the future. It's a huge deal. And a huge order for more than 30 planes. It's great for both Sweden and Brazil :) Regards.
- It is Indeed profoundly relieving to have a respond from an, after all very solidly insigthed & seriously well-informed reliable Person here on this Community; you're of course certainly very right about all your good dependable broad info regarding the several Projects including the NEURON & the Shark demonstrator craft that SAAB has been involved within (still is), it's all definitely very true but when I wrote my comm I just had to simplify, as most of SAAB's Future projects are classified.
The Swiss Airforce coming versions of the JAS 39 Gripen E/F Multitask Fighter are clearly superior to the French Dassault Rafale in several many important aspects; one that I have understood isn't yet very well-known about even amongst the Pilots that currently now are being educated & trained to fly & operate the JAS 39 E/F Versions, is that the air-to-air radar width "signature" of the Plane is only about less than 80-90 square cm, when the Dassault Rafale gives a radar width sign of 2 meters!
The Newspaper that you've read haven't provided you with accurate information what so ever; believe me, I'm personally very insighted (technically as well as more qualifiedly) in the JAS 39 Gripen future versions & development specifications; the true facts are that SAAB Air/Defence are working on further plans to form an advanced unmanned E/F Vers. of the Gripen multitask fighter PARALLELL to the "manned" one & two-seater versions, the versions that the Swiss Airforce have signed-on to operate.
baisicly, i'm sure you know that germany has major products that other countries want and from that germany becomes richer each day, germany even considered leaving the e.u. greece almost became south germany before germany bailed out. Deutschland has no intrest in becoming like the u.s
believe it, germany is in fact doing quite well, way better compared to u.s right now. yes they are bailing out of those countries but then again they have to, if germany continued the way it was going it would have been a world power and germany doesnt want that
Italy? Really? USA! USA! USA! The Germans are doing very well but they have the Eurozone about to implode and take them down with it. Bailing out Greece, Portugal, Spain.. that flushing sound is poor Germany going down the toilet.
If a country is going to help the Sweds in building their aircraft, is is going to be Denmark first of alle, beacause, they already build a lot of the components for the grippen, and second Denmark is a close ally to Sweden :)
now we have a number of problems for logistic works. We have to spare parts of Swedish, parts of American and build up new facilities for Gripen. Personel trained for American armament cann't adapt their high experiences for this 4.5 gen fighter. Look at Malaysia, they have planes from Russia UK and the US. Eventually mixed armament costs them dearly and hard to collaborate those machines in time of war.
