Hi everyone. I enjoy spending my free time playing survival and strategy games and i would like to share with you these moments. Got inspired by @GameEdged and @MittsYT to create some youtube content because i like the same kind of pc games. Love music and especially Alternative Rock, Hard Rock and Heavy Metal. Wanted to share my recent concerts as well. Here are some of the bands i had the privillige to watch this year: Metallica, Nightwish, Sabaton and some recorded way back videos on my favorite band Dream Theater.
I did this map on the most recent version and earlier version. Earlier version was much easier with clone avaliable in t4(so you can clone archangels), in the later versions I think clone is locked into the center confluxes, so you'll probably have to roll for it, at least on the Insane edition. Earlier version also had a full admirals hat reward for the bag of gold which helps a lot to get to the TP shrine in the middle. It also had 2 libraries on side confluxes making them a good place to visit after getting TP to catch up in stats. In the latter versions Gelu and Dracon are disabled so not really a wincon. I beat this map 3 times as Castle, once as a clone arch spam on I think Andra as a main, second time as Valeska(why her I don't even recall, why not Orin lmao) strictly with archery-force field-ressurect and lucky fights. The most recent win was with Caitlin of all heroes since I bricked Sir Mullich, getting fangarms-hota and farming neutrals until I had like 15k fangarms and just facerolling the enemy. Was kind of underwhelming since the strongest pink just stood in one place on his ship for a month or two for some reason. Also on this run for some reason Green was the first to get to the center -> armageddons blade and TP, at like 221, I was only starting to sail to the center. The weekly boost to town production is really buffed for the AI.
I have yet to even complete it, I went to an older version of the map since the newest ones are shitbricks hard, and although I played perfectly and got to the center island by 2.2, pink had already cleaned the Armageddon's Blade and just harassed me and killed my main since I did not have any logistics artifacts. I tried it over 6 times already, even watching tutorials online, I just can't seem to get AB before pink and so I can barely squeeze by until M3, at which point I get ambushed from multiple places. I guess I'll keep playing it until I figure out what the best way to play is.
@@ytdood you aren't supposed to get the AB. Well I guess you can if you really try and go for it, but AB doesn't really matter. There are a bunch of win conditions and AB does basically nothing vs stacked pink or teal army. Unless you wanna just hit and run for like 40 times. To get the AB all you have to do is be faster than other than pink players and clear the T7 Units on the way. Pink arrives pretty late for AB, at least for me.
@@MrKrabbs2009 That's my problem, I played ultra well with Cove, cleared my island by M2.1, was out on the sea on M2.2 and on the central island on M2.3. Loaded a previous save from M2.2 and pink was just clearing the town portal area. I thought the main point is to get TP as soon as possible and having ABs would also allow you to progress quicker. That's why I'm watching all these videos, maybe I'm missing something... Not to mention the many versions of the map, someone with Luna in the Rampart region just melted everything, Cassiopeea for Cove is similar as well, but I can't seem to pass over M3, no matter what I do, as pink harasses me as soon as I'm on open sea and he basically charges me from anywhere...
@@ytdood for me pink is pretty chill until like month 5. Teal is the one usually harassing me, and is the “skill” check of the map. If you beat teal you get a lot of freedom. If you haven’t tried already try going for town portal any time in month 3, it’s still somewhat peaceful, and hop around until you have enough fangarms to get hota. Think it was 150 on the version I played. Then just farm fangarms on t6 neutrals until 6-8k and it’s free. I feel like it’s the easies wincon.
Tell me where you want me to go....I'm afraid there's too many people there...chani here...have you seen how we transformed this lovely switch?......a worm has swallowed our harvester.
It's fascinating to see how much the game draws from David Lynch's film...and how much it departs from said film. I wonder if it's all about rights issues, or if it's just creative liberty.
in Hota, Armageddon is forbidden in Conflux, even with grail. They patched it, so only spells that normally appear in Conflux town, they will also appear with Grail(so no death ripple, no animate dead, no armageddon, no sacrifice).
I did one video with commentary and was not appreciated, so i decided to spent 3 weeks of my life to make a decent video about “The Devil is in the Detail” and help other players. Sorry to hear was not enough for you.
finished watching the vid, noticed something: why there are russian language (cove's name) in the level. and you could at least bought jeremy or cas a cannon , good game anyway
Thanks! I don’t know why is in Russian. :) About the cannon…i think they will get another next map. Nothing goes with the hero to the next scenario in HotA so far.
I love your videos :) Not sure if you knew this, but when in backpack giving away items, if you hold down control then your backpack remains open and you just keep clicking on each item to give to the other hero. This may help you do it more quickly
@@Bozitsar1 thanks, and also I understand you already played the game too many times, but maybe can you include all the messages/events? I enjoy campaign lore and most of the times you just skim or skip them. (those messages didn't listed in the wikia btw)
@@GaryKing762 I was thinking about the messages and decided to skip them to make the videos shorter. If i want to read them instead i can always pause (i try to scroll down first and then close). Sure, i will try to share more time on the messages, thank you.

As i said...got lucky but that doesn't help at all...i need 500 to have any chance in the middle. I wish i hadn't just to avoid such comment. If i was going to cheat i should have waited to get Logistic (Dessa or Kyrre) or just wait as others to get Gelu or Drakon on day 1 not Orrin on the forth month... These 5 angels are just nothing. As you can see i went to the middle with 10 Archangels and there was waithing throngs and swarms 7th level. Do you really think this helped me in any way? Also, i never use Diplomacy...condsidering this as cheat.
Agreed. I play since 1999 as well and this is the very first time this happened to me. :) I spoke with a friend after that and explained to him that this never happened to me before. Anyway...i was running for my life 6 months on this map even i had 100+ Archangels. The AI have unrealistic armies like 15k skeletons and many many more.@@grandsteack
@@Bozitsar1 I'm currently watching your playthrought, no spoilers ! :) I watched a lot of your videos, despite not playing on HOTA myself ; I like your style even though I'm struggling to emulate it. Inspiring nonetheless.
Thank you! I started playing HotA my self few weeks ago. I was forced to because i did all the previous campaigns and i need to continiue creating new content. Still have mixed feelings about those new features but i will learn in the process. Thank you once again for your comments! @@grandsteack
in addition to that there are some balance changes, new secondary skills and some spell animation changes as well such as implosion spell now has clear explosion instead
out of all magic schools: Earth and Air magic schools are important because Expert Air Magic will give you Mass Haste that will affect your entire army Expert Earth gives you mass Slow and better Resurrect!!! And on impossible difficulty one of the most common mistakes is NOT building ALL the way to Capitol you will get 4000 gold/day instead of just 500 gold/day with the grail on Conflux it's 9000 gold/day
My best is 135 days. I play on an iPad though and this looks so luxurious in comparison and some features the devs never got ported. I think you can get a version that runs on a Mac now. I think I will get it and try to see if I can match this. I start with Solidar.
Hi. Thanks for the comment. I can play as purple but really can’t see the difference between tan (the one i played) and purple. Both are castles, both have 2 towns, both have external Portal of Glory and both are isolated on an island and i think purple has even more resources…so, please tell me what is the difference between the 2. Also, i attacked the purple by sea and it was pretty well developed and had tons of loots.
@Bozitsar1 It's alright if you don't that's fine. Purple is way harder. Tan is easy mode. Purple has a way tougher time getting developed and out of their zone. I dunno what else to say other than try a few weeks as Purple and see for yourself. If it's too easy feel free to stop. If it's a challenge and you're looking for that; good luck
