Omg I’m so pumped, I love this show. Did I cry for most of it the first time I saw it on stage in my country? Absolutely. Do I cry every time I listen to the original cast recording? Of course, but I’ll take it anytime
I saw this over the weekend, and for some bizarre reason, the audience laughed - a lot - through the first half. This is a tragedy, or at very least poignant. It was really disconcerting, although the actors never missed a beat. They seemed to laugh the most at Patricia Clarkson's delivery. I have never found anything about this play amusing. Just strange......
I am old enough to remember when John Cleese was funny! I find this kind of nostalgia or 'greatest hits' theatre depressing. There is nothing new being said or done and, no reason to go.
I've already seen the show TWICE since it's opening in March 2024 at the prince Edward Theatre West End, London, and going again 🎉 In May and June. Can't get enough of it. It is AMAZING. A MUST SEE. ❤ ❤ MJ 4EVER ❤
