My wife and I did the three day utopia back in the early September late August. I'd say the best cruise you've had in 20 years except for the food and we didn't do the Togo party or beer pong and we still had a blast.
Wasn’t it such a fun cruise!! Oh man next time you go you have to do the silent toga party and the royal cappa chi party - the royal cappa chi party is as fun as you make it! But worth checking out! We got a free beer coozie
They did have instructional videos in spotlight karaoke on how to tie the togas but my mom ended up doing it a different way that worked for most of us haha! Ryan and my dads togas didn’t cooperate 🤣
That chels channel they seem pompous. He is annoying hahah. Mr Ryan is hard to please he was rough on my paradise beach for not having a swim up bar. They are overrated lol! To me at least..

This is my biggest issue with Royals mega ship. I feel like the insides take away from the cruise ship feel, but me personally the restaurants on board. I think most other cruise lines their main dining and their few restaurants are unique and don’t look and feel like regular land restaurants. Maybe I’m just nit picking but I just don’t like how being in these restaurants looks like your on land on these class ships.
It’s definitely harder on the mega ships because they have so many people to accommodate! That being said I feel like usually on the oasis size ships the restaurants don’t have great windows or views, but on utopia they incorporated a lot of outdoor views, patios or outdoor areas which was great! Gave the cruise vibe more than we have seen in the past! It just depends what you’re looking for though the mega ships definitely aren’t for everyone (we do have a sweet spot for the smaller ships but love all the activities and offerings on the larger ships) kind of depends on the itinerary! But I see what you mean for sure, it does feel more like you’re on land- especially because there’s not any outdoor areas on utopia to step out on, on deck 4, 5 or 6 like there usually are on the smaller ships. I hope Royal does their discovery class of ships where they make smaller ships but with great amenities like on oasis class!

We didn't have a great experience on Silhouette, but really hope you have a great time. We're looking forward to Beyond, but so sad Captain Kate won't be on the ship.

Food yes but drinks no, unless you got the drink package then your drinks are included but otherwise you buy them! The $ you pay for hideaway is just for access to that area. I loved it personally because it was fun but not too crazy and the pool was awesome and no kids!

We don’t script anything except when we do ship tour and review when we make notes so we don’t forget anything lol We really try to keep it real on our channel so you know what you’re getting when you go on board! So glad you’re enjoying the channel!! ♥️
Would be awesome. Imagine staying here overnight while the ship goes to Nassau (for those that don't care about Nassau), then comes back the next day for a short time to pick everyone that stayed up and leave.
Y'all have no idea how much laughter your videos bring us. First off, your families are adorable!!!! We can see the resemblance in their faces. We were on the fence on spending money to go to Hideaway Beach, and I think we are gonna pass. There are so many other spots on the island, and with the heat, I think we'll just go where it's free, not knowing how long we'll be there. Regardless, it's a beautiful island, and we can't wait to visit. The toga party looked fun, and we both cracked up when Kala dropped the F bomb singing the silent disco. I can't wait for the next 3 days and hope you can find some relaxing time for yourselves. We love this series. We appreciate you sharing your vacations! ❤

@@ryanandkala it was very nice! My mother in law who is 81 and loves to travel, but can't go alone at this point, wanted to see the Bay of Fundy. We did an accessible excursion through Princess but she was very disappointed because she felt that we didn't see the area that it's famous for... but other than that it was cool! Peggy's Cove was beautiful!!! Bar Harbor, ME was very cute. Boston was just like any other city, but interesting. We went to the Harvard campus, so that was neat. Our tour guide (through Princess) was VERY enthusiastic lol!!! What area in Canada are you from? You should definitely go, though!
@radtech71 we are from Ottawa Canada which is in Ontario close to Toronto and Montreal! It’s on our list to do this cruise but there’s so many other cruises to do 😂
Kala likes royals pizza best and I liked this one at hideaway beach but later in the series we go to Giovanni’s 2nd floor and get pizza and THAT has easily been the best pizza at sea bar none!! 🍕
I just wanted to say you mentioned if we watch your channel we must watch Chels and Travis (or whatever their name is). But I don’t. Their camera work makes me dizzy and sick. Your camera work is so much more steady and easy to watch. Just wanted to give you props. 👍🏻

I have never come across them, either, but I just looked them up and it seems their cruise content is exclusively RCCL. I’ve never sailed with Royal and have no immediate plans to do so, (although I’m in no way opposed to sailing with them someday). I discovered you guys with your first Carnival series (that’s the line I’ve sailed the most), and liked you and your content so much that I’ve followed all your subsequent series, regardless of the cruise line. ❤
There are 2 additional pools on the other side of the lido deck that are more kid friendly. Just depends on what you’re looking for and what you think is acceptable for your kids to see. 🫶🏼
i love not watching for a few weeks and then i get to come back to so many new vids! also, random, but i love the "sunny days" song always in the vlogs, such a vibe and perfect for sunny cruise views haha.
