Bill do you know the siginal path and frequency with a SJRC F22 S2 PRO Is it 5Gig from Controler to Drone and 2.4 Gig from phone to controler They get 4kl plus no way you can get that receiving on your phone. What does the WIFI switch do ?? and what frequencies are used. Thanks.
Hi Bill I just orded a SJRC F22 vS2 Pro they recon they go over 4kl they have a WIFI Repeater I think it retransmitts the video to the phone but I cant find out if the phone talks to the controler on 2Gig or 5 Gig and If the controler talks to the drone on 5 or 4 Gig Im a comms Teck so understand the limitation of this Fx and WIFI.
Hi, I am not exactly sure how this works myself to be honest, but it seems that the radio controller 2.4ghz signal is connected and transmitted through the phone instead of directly with the drone,...whether this is converted into a 5ghz wifi signal, gps protocol or mobile network protocol I do not know.
@@BillMRC Thanks Bill I have orded a new phone that will do 5G and 2.4G amd ac wifi so i think I have all bases covered but when I get the Done i will be able to monitor what is connected to what and ill let you know Maybe It is also some communications going on in the USB plug into the phone. It does make sence to communicate with the drone on 5G and from the conttroler to drone but how the phone conects is a bt of a mystery. Thanks for your help.
Hi i have a question i have this drone jd20s but i had to discard my battery. I check in e commerce form my country and they didnt have the model for jd20, but i check for the drone model e88 have the same the values of jd20s (3.7v 1800mah) so my question if i buy it could it work in my jd20s drone? Thanks regards.
Got one of these cheap, handy with the dividers inside, the exterior straps were rubbish and I replaced with battery straps quickly. A budget bag, but OK.
Fantastic Bill! I’m still flying but no videos since I had to relocate. I also have this drone and I really enjoy flying it ! Thanks for the review it very thorough as always!
Still in 2024 - like many people - I can't decide between the Z20 and AD20. Same price - but some say the Z20's real range is poor. 80km range is claimed for both the AD20 & Z20 - so those 80km range claims are almost criminal if you really only get 20-30km !! Paul G
How long of a run time do you get out of the 25c 2200mah lipo ? I purchased mine today battery fully charged also purchased 50c 3000mah 3s lipos and all battery's seem to only last 40 seconds ones to a Min run time before battery low alarm on transmitter starts beeping and boat loosing all power just to make it back 20 meter distance from bank I'm standing at Do you know why this issue is happening?
Had it for 3 years and the head stopped rotating nothing wrong with the motor because when I take the head out it rotates .. looks like the bit of the head that goes in the slot jams
The jib sheet is completely messed up. It needs to feed from a deck eye that is centered up to the jib club. That centered deck eye was skipped here, attaching the jib to one side of the deck. It will only sail on one tack.
