I think I agree to some extent but I do enjoy interacting with my colleagues in person. There is something to be said with interacting directly with people and getting to know them. For our discipline in automotive seat design, it's hard to not interact with the product to make critical decisions. Not easy to do when you are remote. However, I love the fact that it's working for some companies like yours. I like seeing and discussing design ideas with our team members around the product. Great video.
It looks to me that they are using Rhino 3D, which I have used since 2000. Great software, super user friendly; however, not the industry standard for regulated industries like medical devices and in-vitro diagnostics where SOLIDWORKS speaks first.
Thank you! We value your feedback, and are delighted to hear that you found our video informative and helpful. We encourage first timers out there to check out our channel for more handy tips and advice!
We highly recommend websites like MFG.com, Thomasnet, and Kompass. These platforms offer extensive databases about global manufacturers, making it easier to find the right partner for your needs.
Thank you! We're thrilled you found our topic interesting. If you have any suggestions for future topics, please let us know. We appreciate your support!
Hey JC, we're glad you liked it! We built and imported it ourselves. You can also find a playlist with more virtual reality-related content on our channel.
As someone who travels full time and runs my UK business remotely im now at 4 full time Filipino staff that i found on Manpower Genius and Staff Remotely. Best decision i ever made, im hiring 4 people for the price of 1 in the UK or US plus they work harder so im not getting 4 more productivity but closer to about 6x. Its insane

How is culture in USA and in Europe ( maybe people can comment , I know you folks located in USA:) ) in term of hardware support. Does people utilize makerspace? Do people get used hardware at home laser cutter , 3D printer, XR headsets from company … Does employees pays for travel expenses for workshops, location base meetings and so on ….
Hey Eren! To address some of your questions, we provide our employees with any necessary equipment and parts for their projects. While some already have 3D printers and other tools, we ensure they have what they need. Video was fun😂... I'm also planning to do industrial design but am confused about the scope in industrial design 4years from now. Don't know what to do..... ☹️
Hey Somya, We're glad you liked the video! Industrial design is such an exciting field with tons of room to grow. It's worth noting that creative fields like this one can be pretty competitive when it comes to landing great jobs. With technology always evolving, the scope of industrial design is set to broaden even further. To stay ahead of the game, think about diving into areas likeUX/UI, sustainable design, digital design tools, and incorporating AI into your process. Staying on top of trends and always learning will help you carve out a successful path in the field!

I'm just 17, and I'm thinking to pursue a 4 years bachelors in designing, specialised in ui ux, what's your take on this, what are the future scope and future market , and the degree is pretty expensive like 10-12 lakhs
I would say that among design or creative degrees, UI/UX is one of the safer bets as far as accessibility of jobs after finishing the degree. There are a lot of UI/UX positions out there (depending on the health of the economy 4 years from now). As in any creative field, the employment landscape will be very competitive, so if your dream is to work for a big name company or a prominent design consultancy, it will take a lot of focused time and hard work to build skills that stand out from all the other UI/UX grads. - Blake, Partner/Design Director at Hatch Duo.
Is that really helpful? I don't feel like these are tips, this feels more like "meanspo' back from 2015 with repetitive "mistakes" and no answer how to avoid that, just a thought
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. The video aimed to highlight common mistakes that new industrial design graduates might make, drawing from our own experiences and observations as seasoned industrial designers. We believe it's important to shed light on these challenges to help others navigate their careers more effectively.
