@allysonand id like to find a nice switch that could handle 30 Amps but the prices weren't reasonable. I made a neutral bonding plug for about 7 dollars. A benefit to the plug is that you can tell from a distance whether you are running bonded or not.
That old chalenger panel is in impressively great shape for it's age the bus bar looks brand new! Cool wadsworth breakers installed in it too even if they are the wrong brand they work.
It blows my 10 year old predator out of the water too. The wife is going to like the push button start with autochoke. Its balanced better and easier to move around even though its heavier. I spent a lot of time comparing models and I think this is the best price to feature ratio out there.
@@projectswithjw I don't believe I am in the market for a new Generator just yet. I went back and forth while building as to whether I'd go ahead and install a whole home nat gas generator but ultimately talked myself out of it. I'd say you're lucky to have found the one you bought. It appears people are complaining all over Reddit saying that they can't find it
Nice generator. I’m going through the mental gymnastics of which back up power source I want for my home and I’m leaning heavily towards a tractor PTO generator. A large gasoline generator like this is what I’m waffling back and forth between.
@LandFather this one has most of the features I was wanting. Multi fuel, recoil start if it has dead battery, push button start with auto choke so it's easy for the wife to use, 5% THD so it's as safe as utility power for sensitive devices. I'd like an inverter just for the noise level but they are too far out of my price range. My wife wouldn't be able to hook up a tractor attachment by herself, so it's not a useful option if i wasn't home.
@@projectswithjw I’m curious if I can teach my wife how to connect a PTO shaft if the generator was already where it needed to be. Decisions decisions.
@@projectswithjw the only reason we bought this van was because it had the cargo seats but guess we’ll have to sacrifice that and get a sienna. I hate seeing people buy these with credit and there only means of transportation then shi breaks.
@ejones6616 it's a neutral ground bonding plug. I use this as a stand alone generator sometimes. When I plug it into the house, I pull the bonding plug out since the house has it's own neutral and ground bonded in the main panel. The generator came bonded from factory and I converted it to floating neutral.
@@LandFather brakes - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ highly recommend. Deere - no stars. These machines are built with harbor freight quality and sold for snap-on prices...
