We document our adventures, experiences, and travels in the form of Photos | Vlogs | Videos | and Blogs To bring our audience on a personal journey through us, with the brands and destinations we work with. We also love to share all the tips and tricks we learn along the way!
What is our story? Well, David is originally from Scotland, and Skylar from Cape Breton. We met in the middle of an ice storm in February of 2015 in Halifax, Nova Scotia where we bonded over or love for the outdoors, travel, and photography.. the rest as they say, is history!
We now live in Cape Breton with our border collie Indie and sassy cat Baba Yaga. You can find us cuddling our animals, exploring the outdoors, showcasing our Island, planning our next adventure or travel destination, and creating fun content along the way.
We love new experiences and genuinely enjoying the world and opportunities around us.
Not even a third of the way through this video, and I have to tell you that I'm enjoying it. I'm leaving in just a few days to go to Ireland for a a two week trip, and I've been, as one does, watching Ireland tourist videos obsessively. Yours is by far the best video I've seen. You've found things to do and sites to see that I haven't seen in any other video, and presented it respectfully and informatively. You're the kind of couple I would be happy to spend a vacation with. I hope other like minded folk find your video. Loving your video tour so far, staying for the rest. Cheers and slainte!
Ok. Seriously. I got to see 2 minutes of the boat and islands and 15 minutes of your faces? Stop that. Show me where you are. Not what you look like. And in case you think I’m picking on you I’m not. Seems like 50% of more of RU-vidrs are under the impression the camera is a mirror. Happy to look at you for 2 mins while you head somewhere new. After that why don’t you actually show us what your SEEING?
You are definitely picking on us and being mean….We have feelings and you should consider that before commenting like this. There’s so much more content on the internet.. if you don’t like us watch something else.
Hey guys !! I love ur content ! Maybe sometime u could do fox back? It’s located in pleasant bay by a barn. And I would like to know what hiking shoes u guys use. I want to get into hiking more but I don’t know what shoes to get. Keep up the great work !!!!❤❤❤
Thank you for taking the time during your honeymoon to show us the sights. Your video is delightful and packed with great info. Congratulations on your marriage--you two seem like a terrific match.
lobster pound is a waste of mney. if you want lobster go to a warf and wait for the boats to come in, get them darn near free m darn near free for cash. Big YES for cape split. Baxters falls boring. lots of great waterfalls to hike to in NS. lots of great lakes. Lots of great beaches. Check out Rissers/Cressent beach and for colder water that is a beach straight out of the Phillipines see Carters beach. Summervill beach for jumping of of a train bridge into the ocean. Crystal falls in the back of Greenwood ns for jumping off of cliffs.
Saint John...hands down, my favourite Maritime city! I've lived in every Maritime city and nothing compares to the unique old school chic vibe and it''s amazing landscape.
Want an electric low roof Ford Transit. Not to build into tiny house...but just for camping gear needs or haul plants for landscaping. "module". So Cape Breton has charging stations and could go from Sydney to Meat Cove on one charge. I would add small things, like electric radiant floor heating and bear proof screen mesh (real thing). 🐻
Hope you all had a good Mother's Day...or Mother Earth or touch by an angel day May 12, 2024. Interesting to see another view of this area, Rivervids posted a snorkeling swim of meat cove, neat lobster there. Made me really want to go for the water!🦀
I went on the water slide too! That was dark! Anyway I was in room 480! (Close to the haunted room of 473) Reason Why It’s Haunted:Women Died Of Broken Heart Cause her Bride was Gone (atleast that’s what I’m remember)
