I don't envy the person for trying to list the top 10 because the world simply loves more than 10 Queen songs. Each song on the list deserves to be there and everybody probably agrees with BoRhap in 1st place, but I don't. I believe Innuendo to be a far superior song. Don't get me wrong, BoRhap is a true masterpiece too but Innuendo could be one of the most amazing pieces of music ever written. Innuendo reminds me of Holst's The Planets- Mars, The Bringer of War. It is almost a call to action, challenging you to rethink your entire life. "Our lives are dictated by tradition, superstition, and false religion through the eons and on and on." Sung by a man dying of AIDS and who is so sick, his normal 4 octaves are reduced to one... maybe 2. Either way, the band did a fantastic, almost unbelievable, job with this one. SO much anger, but so much jollity. They hit on all 5 stages of grief & dying, it's almost like an emotional journey through the one thing we ALL will experience one day but NONE of us have yet. It's terrifying but at the same time probably the most beautiful song I've ever heard.
My favourites are ‘Good Morning’ & ‘Mr Kite’, also the Sgt Pepper theme & reprise. In fact, I wish the Sgt Pepper theme was longer, it’s one rocking track with some great guitar breaks!
Good list! Personally i would've added Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park on the list, and probably appetite for destruction, but fully respectable list as is!
