Disagree - multiple clear indications of the attack being real throughout the movie: the radio coverage from the beginning, Emmet describing how he saw the red flashes, the woman with the lesions on her face trying to break in. Your ending would have led people to believe Howard was lying about everything, which would have made no sense and left all those scenes contradictory, pointless, and without any explanation.
I think that's the general idea, yeah - whether it goes in is a different story. I remember just holding the shoot button and releasing it to get 3 point shots. The actual little ability each character has (like Wily's rocket shot) has an increased a chance of going in.
Yeah, this speedrun is probably top 5 on NES in my opinion for hardest to execute, at least optimized. Also, casually, it usually takes people at least 5-6 hours or more. The last level alone and 2 bosses are very tough.
Yeah that was the toughest part that alone took me 2 hours. Your joker kill is amazing. I had to move back and dodge lightning and you were jumping toward him
This game was so good! I just remembered it today after so many years of forgetting about it! I used so sink hours into it as a child 😊 damn, the nostalgia hits hard on this one
Grats Dave! Our schedule's are way off nowadays, but it was good to see the recording of you beating this challenge. Even though you are way lower number on the list than me I give you props, sir.
Thanks Stylee. :D This was a really good challenge and I enjoyed it a lot, and appreciate the congrats and you checking it out even if I'm not exactly part of team degen/team night anymore.
Yeah, as I keep randomly writing or saying, this was hard even for me and probably the hardest thing I've done so far speedrunning, so I'm glad it finally happened! Insanely difficult to put everything together and keep nerves under control at the end. xD
At 39:35 you made history! Congrats Dave to the well deserved 3rd spot! 🥳🎉 Here are the near-death parts of the run that I could find: 8:16 -- 16:36 -- 17:17 -- 23:22 -- 31:36 😰 Oh, and 31:28 is fun! 🤣🍋 I LMAO'd to all the 🐔🐔🐔 at the end!
31:36 was wild. xD I saw that originally and obviously mentioned it, but I didn't know how close I actually got until watching this back. I feel I was literally one pixel from death there. :D 31:28 is actual brain damage. I have no idea what I was expecting. It's funny as that never happened until 2172 runs in. I'm actually dumb. xD Thank you for all your help in answering questions! I think I could have hit a low 38 as I made quite a few mistakes still, but I was still fighting some nerves. Nerves are crazy end-game. And yeah, in the most non-cheesy way possible, I really do feel blessed by the community & chat that surrounds me. No one really spammed stuff (although they could have) until the very end of the run and then it just mass existed. I received so many messages and people saying things like they could breathe again, but that's what speedrunning is all about! I love the idea that people were holding their breath or on the edge of their seats. I remember watching Dxtr when I was new trying to get <10 in Batman with the Joker glitch. :) Super glad to have shared this with everyone and how it intertwined with Twitch Partner by accident, AND, how both are now DONE. :D
@@JunkyardDave Actually, I think 29:07 was probably just as close! 😰 About 31:28, I think even the best of us can have a brain fart, but for me the funniest part was that you had to reset the room. 🤣 It's been a blast to help out! Your community is awesome, and surely I would've been at the edge of my seat too - well I kind of was, but of course I knew the result since I sadly didn't catch it live. Indeed it reminded me of early Twitch speedrunning days! Also, I don't think I said it yet, but congrats to partner as well!
@@Spiriax Thanks homie! Kat pointed out another yesterday, 29:56. xD One of those shards came really close to my head. I reset the room as I know the cycle from entry for all rooms, but yeah, shows again the braining that happened. I didn't need to reset the cycle at all there to do it. xD Thank you for the kind words though. :) I really do feel I met a lot of awesome people here. I'm glad so many were around for it and enjoyed Unfair!
