Sia's journey with her appearance was riddled with deep-seated insecurity and a struggle with self-worth. She believed herself to be ugly, leading her to hide behind a wig, desperate to shield herself from others' scrutiny and the harsh judgments she imposed upon herself. Yet, within the veil of anonymity, something remarkable unfolded. The wig, once a mere accessory, transformed into a symbol of her humility, resilience, and authenticity. It turned her into an enigma, a goddess shrouded in mystery, captivating us with her music and her indomitable spirit. When she finally shed the wig, it was as though she had bared her soul to the world, revealing the raw beauty and vulnerability that lay beneath, triumphing over her self-perception issues. Her hauntingly beautiful voice alone possessed the power to move mountains and touch the deepest recesses of our souls. And though time may have left its mark, our hearts will forever resonate with her voice. For Sia is more than just a singer; she is a beacon of hope, a testament to the power of music to heal and to move souls, and a reminder that true beauty lies not on the surface of our appearance but in the depths of our hearts.
Harrison came to the blind audition with a dream. His dream has come true and his life is more than a dream. I congratulate him for all he has done and achieved. He is a versatile, extraordinary talent with rare human qualities who enchants everyone who listens and sees him. And he does it all with so much love 🥰
I happened to be traveling in New Zealand in 2006/7 and heard Chasing Cars about twice a day on the radio. First saw this video on the ferry from Wellington to the South Island and a lil crush was born.
She is the most genuine and nicest performer I have ever had the pleasure to watch. Despite the tattoos, tough girl image, and her foul (and funny) sense of humor on stage; in person she is the sweetest person who makes eye contact with her audience and interact with them, and the fact she mainly plays small venues despite how popular she is, says even more about her. She leaves it all on the stage, not afraid of baring her soul and sharing her personal stories and tragedies, like if you are having a sit down with her in your living room...I met her each of the 4 times I attended her concerts, and each time I was able to get a picture with her; she will give you all the time in the world to engage and talk, me and my friend even had a small sit down with her before she left the next day to the Detroit airport last year. I definitely recommend seeing her at least once, I am promise you will be addicted; her voice just as strong and sultry live as it is in her videos...
