if you place a land claim block nearby you can hold interact while hovering to pick most things up. Don't remember if trapdoors are included but maybe.
You can still leave through the front door but you won’t get the loot I’m assuming that’s why she doesn’t give you the key after just surrendering the books After realising that fact, and after multiple playthroughs, I just kill her for the loot
The reason that happens is every instance of damage they have a chance to rage so they run even with out blood moon. So fire has an increased chance to rage them as it is DOT
