Hello little bookworms! My name is Summer and I LOVE to read children's stories. I have loved reading since I could pick up a book and ever since then have written hundreds of my own little stories. Whenever you feel lonely, sad, happy or if you just need something to calm you down, I hope that you enjoy listening to my storytelling. Reading children's stories always makes me happy so I hope you enjoy my videos as much as I enjoy making them to share!

“The Best Loved Doll” by Rebecca Caudill, illustrated by Elliott Gilbert. This is my favourite childhood storybook. I turn 60 years old this year. I love the story and the illustrations are fantastic.
Thank you SO much for sharing that Joan 🥰 It was one of my FAVORITE books I always loved to read growing up as a kid and is still a classic and beautifully done story.
I loved this book so much as kid. I bought it at our school's book fair. Thank you for reading it to us. I'm 60 and I enjoy looking up my favorite books on RU-vid. It's nice to have a story. Read to me while I have lunch or even just before bed. I'm still a kid!
In this story, Ruby and her little brother Max went shopping for a present for their grandma's birthday: A music box with skating ballerinas on top. Ruby saved a wallet full of money for the present(10 one-dollar bills and 1 five-dollar bills). Unfortunately, the music box cost way more money than Ruby expected. She paid only one dollar for the bus fare. Even though the other one-dollar bills didn't get spent, she still wouldn't have enough money for the music box. The other one-dollar bills got spent on these things and why. 1. Max spent 2 at Candi's corner for a set of vampire teeth with cherry syrup inside. 2. Ruby spent 3 at the laundry store because Max got dirty(1 for the soap, 1 for the washer and 1 for the dryer) 3. Ruby spent the last 4 at Katie's diner because it was Max's lunchtime. Max had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, 2 coconut cupcakes and a banana shake. Finally, the 2 bunnies ended up buying gifts they can afford.
same, 30 years ago. Every sunday, in a small town somewhere in India, with buttered bread and milk as my breakfast, I'll read this story and savor my breakfast just like the grandma and grandpa in the story !
Absolutely perfect! The story is perfect! The illustrations capture the warmth and joy of Christmas! And your video with the music and sounds tied it all in perfectly! Great job to all of you!
