Great video ! "Embedded Security" tab in Policy Configuration is now called "NGFW" in SD-WAN 20.15. Still located at the same place, and works the same way, but now with a different name.
in this video I was using a 50W power supply. Product ID: PWR-IE50W-AC-IEC= in the video its flipped over on its side. normally it would be din rail mounted near the IE3300
Thank you for the very good presentation. Is it possible to combine a UPS/ USV with the router so that the router is shut down safely in the event of a power failure?
Hi, glad you enjoyed the presentation. To answer your question, this is optional. Interrupted power will not harm the router or corrupt the configuration. There is no soft shutdown for the router itself. Having uninterrupted connectivity to devices connected to the router during a power outage is more of a concern and use case for the UPS/USV.
Hello. Could you please clarify your question? Feel free to visit this page for more information and read the data sheet for more details: www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/switches/catalyst-ie3400-heavy-duty-series/index.html
Hello Tim. I work in a company that offers smart lighting solutions for cities, I have been involved in multiple projects with +15 CGRs and +15.000 endpoints each. We use FND to manage and firmware update endpoints but I am not an expert in using it and right now I'm facing a few issues related to FND, like creating the CSMP certificate for endpoints, and adding new CGRs to FND, I don't know the process to do so. I would like to know what certification I need or how can I get more knowledge about FND and the Cisco IoT solutions for CGmesh and WiSun networks, please.
Hello. The Catalyst IW9165E is a wireless client that attaches to an access point. For a client to attach to an access point, the version of the access point or WLC does not matter.
Hi There! Cyber Vision identifies OT assets, their characteristics, and their communication patterns by passively capturing network packets and decoding ICS protocols leveraging deep packet inspection (DPI) to analyze packet payloads (not just headers). This ultra-safe approach can be enhanced with active discovery that sends requests in the semantics of the specific ICS protocol at play to collect further information. Hi Great video, Can we also have some configuration videos on a real IE with config examples. At 6:43 i am wondering, what is right ,as 2 machines have 10.0.0.x/24 and last one has 10.0.0.z/24 in the diagram
Utilities. Still 10 years behind. Too expensive to upgrade everything at a site. All money pushed towards compliance. Security and reliability are second priorities.
The intended use case for these routers don't need anywhere close to 100Mbps. The SCADA systems I manage are running on 1.5Mbps circuits. No need for faster speeds as there isn't that much data to send.
