@TheAustin1414 a pool is just that... a swimming pool... a bowl is made for specifically for skating... a lot of bowls are designed to emulate pools, like the one in this vid.. and a lot of skaters build their swimming pools to be skateable ;).. but basically if it was intended for swimming it's a pool, for skating, a bowl.. comprende??
skateboarding is neither art or a sport. Its a lifestyle. Its puting your ideas into action and viewing things around you differently. Companies trying to make money off of skateboarding is what make it into a sport.
My definition of a sport is anything which involves significant physical activity that can be played recreationally or competitively. I therefore think of skateboarding as a sport. Extreme sports are also the only sports I would also consider to be an art form due to the creativity involved.
why don't people understand this SPORT is ART. Because of the creative work it's into it's art. And because of the work of your body it's a sport. Just imagine skating is like painting? .. Thats wrong, or skating like football. Wrong aswell, skating is something one and only. Admit it.
